Hi Jo

How are you doing. I cannot wait untill Big Ben dongs midnight. I lost my dad last christmas, and it has been a hard year. My OH lost his job due to bad health, a bankrupty ensued, and we almost, almost lost our house.

But here we are, ready to start a new year afresh. We saved our home, OH still does'nt work and his health will not improve, but our life can and will improve. We are off on holiday in January, so that is something to look forward to.

So for others in a desperate situation, life can and does improve, if you only give it a chance. Oh god this wii and schloer is finishing me off. I thought she would sleep but now she wants me to bowl!!!

Happy New Year again, if I dont get chance.

Jo, I'm counting on you. This year is our chance, you so need a charm bracelet, my girl, we are going to fill mine!!

I'm doing okay thanks IM, and you know what, I think I want to listen to the 'dongs' tonight to say goodbye to a year that hasn't been all bad as I've improved my life so much, but will open the door to living life properly

My dad died 28th Dec 93 and it's always this time of year that is so difficult when you remember. Time does heal though, and I only remember the good things now, not the horrible time when he was ill.

Draw a line under it IM, it's a new beginning xx

Hi Jo,thought you were going to bed?I love the fireworks,shall watch them from my sofa.Amazes me how little people have on when they are out in this freezing weather:mad:.

DS1 is upstairs,he is not drinking tonight as he dosent want a hangover tomorrow and he says there is no point in just having a couple of drinks.:eek::eek::eek:

Amen to all that! Me and OH have just been sat reminiscing about the past decade. We met, got married and have had Piglet. We've had lovely times....and bad times. Guess thats the way it goes???

New year tomorrow....new decade.....lets hope its happy, healthy and wealthy for all of us.

Just spoke to DD1 she said it's packed with people, you can't move :eek: rather anyone else than me :rotfl: I'm sat here in the peace and quiet, fire on, coffee on the go

Budgie - thank you for your post. A lot of people on here make me stop and think...you especially (and our GC of course!:rolleyes:). You all speak so much sensible stuff.... I really should listen! I'm STILL feeling really angry...something I'm trying to deal with. Its very hard. I don't trust people easily so it hurts when that trust is broken. Am very sure I'll get over it. I CAN be strong!

Actually he is DS2 not 1! 30 next week and more than happy living here,just came down and made me a cup of tea. :T
