Budgie, you're a star....hope you have a lovely new Year

    Miss P
    xx

You too Miss P I am on the good old english tipple: tea :rotfl::rotfl:

I do hope you are ok Miss P, on my long lost post last night I had done quite a lengthy post to you. Basically I was trying to say that I too hate to be lied to and to feel deceived is not a nice feeling. However if it is done to save someones feelings and with ONLY good intentions then I would say to a degree that is ok? You are a good friend I am sure to the people that you care about, the trick is as Budgie has learned and sometimes at her own expense is knowing who deserves your friendship and trust?

Start 2010 as you mean to go on and as you say appreciate your family more. Your Oh and Dear Piglet are very lucky indeed to have you, but never forget that you are lucky to have them also. We take for granted what is always there in front of our eyes it is only when it is not that we realise just what we had and should have cherished more.

Sorry if I seem a litle deep as is always the case New Years Eve makes us evaluate and reflect on what we have and what we perhaps ultimately desire.

My 2010 is hopefully going to be a better year?

I am declaring 12 af days for December and 3/365. I hae had 260 days af this year, more than I would have done if I had not joined this thread. Its thanks to the support and encouragement that you all give, so thankyou :A

Thankyou to Marru for doing an excellent job on the scoring and she is the spreadsheet queen. :T

    God Bless

A friend asked me if I'd ever shoed a horse. I said no, but I'd once told a donkey to ***k off.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I just choked on my coffee

I laughed so loud at that one that my DS is still asking me 'whats so funny?' :rotfl:

Ah, the old caffinated keyboard syndrome eh? Don't worry, it dries up eventually and only stays sticky for a day of two :)

    I'm sure she'll be warm enough ;)

DC, lovely post :) sad, but lovely. Makes us all think about what's special to us when NYE turns up, especially at the turn of a decade (I'm getting old enough to say that now  ). Please have the last jaffa yourself, I'm stuffed _pale_

Ange, lovely and toasty in front of your fire! I'm in all night and so will grab a seat in front of it whilst half the wagon is off the wagon  :rotfl:

It's funny you know, there is probably more of the population drinking tonight than normally would on one night and I don't even feel like it  I'm stuffed after eating beef and turkey, roasties, boiled pots, cauli, brussels, cabbage, yorkies, stuffing and numerous condiments, then a choklit brownie ice cream for afties at my local Toby carvery  so so full.

If only I could cherry pick the best bits....and then I started thinking about our dear GC's wise words. Can't change the past, can only change from hereon, today.

Hugs sweetheart and yes if we could only pick out the best bits in our lives?

I really don't know what to say, you have been through so much and words just seem inadequate.

So have a big Budgie hug and lets hope that this next decade is going to be a good one for us all?

Reflection is looking back at the memories of our lives but as Graeme says: Don't stare too long.

Hugs Angel and lots of love
