    Thanks IM.

Jo....it is so upsetting when our children are hurting.

This time last year if you remember my DD2 had split with her partner of 4 years and I think I was more upset than she was:o
She is now happily in another relationship.

Hope your daughter can sort something out.I am sure she knows you will be there for her which ever way things work out.

  • Hi Jo,

That takes me back, its so stressful this time of year, without any other problems! That must be tough on you. Stay calm, they will work it out one way or another, I am sure.

I'm just off for an Ovaltine, I can hardly feel my fingers in this cold!!

    Be back soon.

  • Hi,

I've had a terrible couple of months in terms of not drinking BUT January is a new year and I'm firmly back on the wagon. I'm aiming to be totally alcohol free in January!

And here we come to it...is New Years Eve worse than Christmas? Not sure.

At least tomorrow, society will be more "in tune" and swearing that it will moderate its intake for a few days. Relative sobriety will be fashionable for a while...

Tempted for a drink? No. Not at all. I' ve had some absolutely shocking New Years Eves in my past....they are much better now.

Hope you're all OK....won't say constant vigilance today of all days. IT's harder for it to sneak up at you when it's right in your face!

    take care.

    Morning sweeties :D

Look like I've been hit by a truck this morning - have terrible dark circles under my eyes

The eagle-eyed amongst you will have noted my lack of any AF scores for some time. I have not been a good bear. :o

However, I've been having a lovely time & I do believe more moderate than on previous years. Am not going to give myself a hard time about it nor am I going to leap into immediate New Year AF-ness as I know I would crack then feel bad etc etc  I do have a total in my head for AFD's next month but I'm going to take it as it comes instead of posting a target & see how that works out

Heavens! What a long post for 8am! :rotfl:

Jo, I hope you & DD1 are ok this morning. Let us know how things are *hugs*

Toby, I've out you down for 31 ;)
