    Hi all

Happy birthday to Piglet- hope you have a great day.

Jo, what brilliant news, bet thats such a relief! and a fresh start for the new year without anxiety about paying the rent.

Fay-are you OK? Saw a weather report and your neck of the woods looks completely white and trecherous conditions for travellers. Hope your brother arrives safely. My dads just rung to say hes stuck in Basingstoke, so he's going to try and get a train from Paddington to come home for christmas- I'm pleased about that because I'd just be biting my nails all night if he drove back to Cornwall in these conditions.

Congrats to AFer's - like GC said ages ago drinkers can always find an excuse to have a drink, but I found Xmas really hard, with all the promotions, parties, boozing on soap operas and adverts you can't go a day without temptation. Good luck everyone, hold your nerve, you are all doing brilliantly.

Take care, catch up later (No snow yet in Cornwall, but christ its cold)

OK I take back last weeks childish wish for snow (weel maybe a small flurry on Christmas Day?). OH has been stuck in Reading for 4 hours and is just about to hit the M4 (which is quite quiet!). As we are usually out on a Monday night he has the fab choice of BBQ beef super noodles or Duck noodles for tea! At least it's quick.
Hope everyone else is OK and keeping warm!

    Hi all

    Waited in airport til 8pm

    Sent home

Got back to airport today at lunchtime

Sat waiting since twelve with the flight just changing the departure for the last 8 hours - finally on a plane - should land by 9ish

He's a bit grumpy DD hope your OH gets home OK!

I dunno whether to pick him up or hide?

Well since the weather isn't your fault you had better pick him up! Feel free to blame me!
I expect your hiding places would be kinda chilly anyway (my hiding place would be the garage - brrr!)
I expect a very grumpy OH when he gets home as he's also had computer and mobile 'phone issues today!
    OK - deep breath!
