evening, just about to go to bed actually.

Well, this evening DH asked me if I wanted a glass of wine and I decided that yes I did. interestingly enough, after a couple of mouthfuls I decided I didn't - it didn't taste so nice, wasn't interesting, so I left the rest of the glass. Strange really. I have also started noticing how much my friends mention alcohol in their lives and the jokes about drink. Never really realised before.

Get well soon Jo and keep warm and safe everyone.

Angie, I love your comment about curling up and relaxing without a drink...even though I can do af nights and don't drink to excess always when I do drink, I must admit I still associate relaxing with a drink :o definitely something for me to work on next year..

    Morning :santa2:

A Christmas miracle! My second AF Friday! So it's 8 for me please Marru.

I have no plans for this weekend, so "maybe" I can be good. I want to be good because I'm out with old friends for a christmas meal Tuesday (they don't drink much so this will be fine). However, next weekend I'm going to stay with friends who drink like mad, so this will be a challenge :D. Then there is Christmas and New Year so I need to build up my AF days now.

I have to say, after 6 days AF I'm feeling brilliant. I don't want to drink because I don't want to stop feeling like this.:snow_laug

    Good Luck

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
