    Hello!!

It seems that the whole womanfolk on this thread is having PMT at the moment. I am going to start my 3 day long migraine on Saturday. And to add to the misery I have gone down with the same bug DD had. No temperature thou which is good as work so busy at the moment. I will have last two weeks of the year off so am trying to get as much done and only six days left to do it all.

I will disappear for awhile as going to house/cat/dog sit from Sunday to Wednesday. I should be able to log on from work if I get a moment but there might be gap in the service on Monday and Tuesday.

Otherwise all is well here, coming back with the scores in the moment.

Oh and HSsnowwelcome.gifmiffixxx - do you want to set up a target for the rest of the month?

Keep the cutting down on booze going, you can do it! I have tried champagne, a tiny glass and a very tiny amount of vodka when 18. Never touched it since, now 23, never will. Can't stand it and don't need it adding to my weight. Yet my mum and dad used to drink like fishes, mum still does. Where dad has stopped due to getting polups which booze makes his unclers too much worse so he passes blood.

Good for you, keep thinking this way, you're not missing much x

Wished I'd thought like this when I took my first drink or smoked my first cigarette.

  • Hi Guys,

Just popping in to see how you all are?

Marru honey another af day for me please and thankyou for scoring this month, you are doing fab :T Hope you are ok? Big hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

MollyPolly so sorry to hear about your friend and how sad to pass away so young. Hope you are ok? Big hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Graeme I just wanted to thankyou for your posts, I find that I read them and then go back to read them again. What you say is so very true and we all do appreciate that you take the time to post and help everyone. It is a great achievement that you are 2 years sober, but I gather from your posts that you do not take this for granted. I suppose that just one drink and then you would be back to where you started.

This was what I was trying to say yesterday that it is when we become lazy that we can so easily slip back into old habits.a I am not a lazy person but I have found it is easy to give into my desire to have a drink.

I have been very reflective today and I am trying to sort out many thoughts in my head. I feel so very tired, I have been on a weeks leave this week from work, tbh it is a good job as I feel I would not have coped with the extra pressure of work.

So back to my point which is to say thanks Graeme, you are a little star. Big hugs and take care. (()) xxxxxxxxxx

So I am pootling off now, (What was that: "thank goodness") ;)

So hugs to all my Dear friends, but Dear Lurky don't just lurk if you have burnt the mince pies, it really doesn't matter. We love you for you. Hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Eselt thankyou for your kind words, also Jo, Maman, Miss P, Gien, Marru, Angie, 69Chick, Fay and you all. (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Oh and a warm welcome to Miffi, good luck and take care (()) xxxxxxxxx

YM so sorry to hear about your lights, I don't want to stick up in anyway for the little one, but is there some resentment, jealousy going on. IT IS NO EXCUSE, but it seems so young at 7 to be so destructive to something that is so lovely. However his mother is so wrong not to pay for the damage, it so important to demonstrate to your children the rights and wrong of things. Our children follow our example. Sorry if I have rambled on but a similar thing happened when my Ds was younger. He had a brand new snazzy bike, went out on it in the first week and 2 supposed friend jumped on it and caused a £100 worth of damage. You ought to have seen the state of it.
I was furious, one mother paid half towards the damage and the other mother refused to pay anything.

So I do know how you feel. Big hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Ok flying off now
    God Bless
    Budgie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • Hi everyone :santa2:

    8 please,Marru

Very busy with work and home stuff at the moment, but I'm checking in to report my AFD's as often as possible. Went out with friends for our Christmas meal last night - 1 spritzer, 1 large glass of wine, so pretty good. Of course, i knew i had to be up at 6:20 to go to work, so wasn't really tempted to have any more.

Budgie - very pleased and relieved your darling son has been back in contact. Phewwww!! Now stop worrying.

YM - sorry about your lights - it's horrible having a nasty woman living next door.

    Night night everyone
