    Hi all...

Glad to hear your ds has called you BB I could almost feel you let out a sigh of relief in your post and yes you do sound so much more positive and you do make a lot of sense...heres hoping you and MrBB have some light at the end of the tunnel xx

MP I too feel very tense today am thinking possible PMT too (sorry tmi ) but I never keep a note of when and where so it always takes me by surprise  saw ds in his school play which was lovely (I even magaged to see him too, don't know why the inlawls missed him ) I am the same as you in that I know I am being snappy with the kids and dh but can't seem to stop myself :o hope you are feeling more chipper tomorrow x

I have managed to stay of the booze tonight, but it was a bit of a struggle tbh, dh keeps on hinting about the champagne we have in for a pressie, with comments like 'It is Christmas' lol but I was having none of it so he has made do with a few martinis!! so am pleased to say 72 hr challenge complete yay and now at 4 days af please Marru

Oh I also wanted to say I am really impressed with the spreadsheet Marru it is sooo nice to see those percentages and a real motivator...thanks for doing that and for doing a great job this month :T

I also think that having a more realistic goal this month is helping me as I can see that it is more attainable and is still a reasonable amount of afness for the month containing Christmas and New Year!!

Jo, How fab that you got to see your dd in her play and what a trouper she is to want to go in and do it bless....hope she is feeling better soon...x

Thanks for the bearhugs HB and night night xx

Hugs to all who are in need...onwards as they say...

    Hi all

Checking in early as I have an early start tomorrow.

Glad to hear you sounding brighter BB. Please don't blame yourself for what's happened. You spoke your mind (albeit under the influence) which is exactly what you admire in your DS. Anyhow that's behind you now, so onwards and upwards. And you ramble whenever you want Budgie!

Sorry to hear you are feeling ratty 69chick and MissP (and netttie). If you don't keep to the house rules, piglet will be putting you on the naughty step :D

Great that you got to the nativity jo (and you too 69chick). I missed lots (but not all) when my DDs were young. I remember one particularly when DD2 sang the first verse solo of Once in Royal before rest of choir joined in, still brings a lump to my throat.

Thanks for the support HB. I'm glad I've done the 72hrs. Jumping off now, off to Epernay tomorrow for champagne buying.

    7AF please marru.

    'night all :A

    Hi all

BB- I'm so thrilled DS and you have talked and made some sense out of the other night-we all know how important he is to you and what a wonderful relationship you have with him. Well done you. Hope things are going well with Mr BB too. Hugs to all of you.

JO- what a trooper your little one must be, I'm so pleased she managed to perform- not a dry eye in the house I'll bet? Hope everyone else who have been attending the little ones shows have had a lovely time too.

BHB- hope the feet are behaving and getting better.

Scoring this month is looking brilliant for the most vulnerable time of the year- keep it up guys. And remember, people with alcohol issues CAN ALWAYS FIND A VALID REASON TO DRINK- christmas, birthdays, holidays, celebrations, good times, bad times, stress, bad day at work, tired, kids playing up, partner being a pain etc etc. You can find enough reasons to drink as days in the year- thats easy, the hard bit is finding reasons NOT TO DRINK even when you feel you do- thats when the hard work starts folks.

Hope everyone is OK tonight, thinking of you all
  • 9 days for me please Marru :j:j
