Morning :santa2:
I can't believe Stacey got knocked out:o but I really enjoyed last nights show. Fantastico.
Got me a beautiful tree :xmastree: BF came over last night so I wasn't AF - had 3 glasses of wine = 6 units. That's all I've had in the last 7 days so that seems ok. Will try and be AF tonight and tomorrow.
Good Luck & Enjoy the final
ShaggyWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Hi,
Can I come in here for a bit of support and advice, because I feel absolutely horrible just now!
I didn't drink at all, and I do mean at all, until I was 30, and from then have built up a bottle of red-a-day-every-day habit which has been going on for 10 years now.
I recently got made redundant, and it's climbed to a bottle and a half, and twice this week to two bottles. And i can only see it getting worse.
I don't know how to stop. I am terrified of withdrawal symptoms, and I'm so angry with myself for abusing my body and spending our money on s***ing wine. I keep scaring myself with liver pains and things like that. I feel bloated and grossly hung-over a lot. But nothing is helping. I still reach for the glass of wine at 6pm and don't get up again until bed time. What do I do? How do I stop? Is there any way to avoid withdrawal?NWCC £[STRIKE]2800[/STRIKE] £2600 Marbles £498.18 Egg £1,022.28 o/d1800 1400

Hi there Signs
First of all a big well done for being able to post on here about your drinking. It's a tough thing to face up to it for all of us so give yourself a pat on the back for that.
I don't think there is any way to avoid withdrawal symptoms, other than to focus on how bad you feel now & knowing that you will feel better when you drink less/don't drink at all.
Everyone on here has appreciated differences in their health, appearance & also bank balance as we've dealt with our drinking & those goals really help. We all pitch in & support each other, so this thread is a real help when you want that first drinki but know that you shouldn't.
Just try one day without the wine & see how it goes. And stick around, we're all very friendly@ LBM = £15,872.65, now £10,819.82AF Jan = 7/? Feb = 5/14 Mar = 14/20 Apr = 6/14 May = 2/14 June 2/14 July 0/TF Aug 1/TFv Sept 6/TF Oct 4/7"NEVER DOUBT YOUR OWN QUALITY"0
