Uuuuh talking about bells, I survived trip to the big Mr T and when I got home I would have loved to numb the pain of that with some alcohol. Now I know why I don't go there very often, especially with DD. I can't wait to get her to bed and then have a marathon in front of the telly.

On the positive note I have all the pressies minus one and have paper and tags and card list and hopefully enough cards. Should keep me busy for the rest of the evening together with strictly and xf.

Edit: just bribed DD and said if she goes to do jigsaw puzzles in her room she can have sweeties - quiet for little while - bliss

Wouldn't it be more relaxing to sit down & put your feet up? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • Evening all!

    8 for me please Marru!

Busy day here today. Had to ice and decorate the cake I've made my brother for christmas. Then piglet had a haircut booked. Also had to deliver shopping to my Nan (I do her christmas present shopping for her - she's nearly 90 and, whilst still very mobile and independent, I don't expect her to brave the shops at crimbo!!). And now we've just put the tree up and decorated the house. All looks very festive! So now am cream crackered!

Luckily, we have a few Piglet free hours tomorrow afternoon. Mum and Dad are taking him on the local Santa Express - its the local steam railway that runs down the track a few miles to Santas grotto. Think they have a christmas dinner on the train too. Piglet very excited!

Will catch up on thread shortly.
Jo - hope you aren't feeling too poorly!
DC - hows the eye?? Had a few contact problems myself so you have my sympathy!

    Miss P
    xx
