Evening all!
Going to make an effort to keep up after tonight.....promise!!
At the moment I just feel I have no "me" time. Even to catch up on threads on the pooter!;)
So......
I am enrolling in a gym on friday. That way I get ME time and it helps with the old piggy fat loss!;) Costs money but the one local to me offers anytime access for £16 a month which I think is great value. And if I have 3 less bottles of wine a month then I'm ok!
Bit scared as haven't been to a gym for about 10 years! But woman on phone sounded ok (albeit skinny, blonde and fit...the b**ch!) so going to be brave!
Sorry if I've missed anything.

Good for you, Miss P!
Exercise gives you endorphins so you get that whole feel-good factor, plus the smug "I've been to the gym" feeling too

:hello::hello::hello: Evening all.....
Not been lurking...just not been on. Havent caught up either so will have to do that in the morning see how everyone is doing. Didnt log on as didnt make it through Monday night without a wine!! Dissapointed in self. Still went okay at agency yesterday, managed AF last night in prep for interview this morning. Thank god i did....tho I had a can of red bull before going into the interview and went a bit panicky half way though....bad move!! Anyhow, must have pulled something back as interview lasted an hour and then I got a phone call this afternoon inviting me back for another tomorrow!! Fingers crossed. On my second glass now but off to bed shortly. Interview not till 1pm so hopefully I'll be feeling good and the sun will shine.
Take care one and all and I'll catch up on your goings on in the morning...

Good luck with the second interview tomorrow Gromit :j:j
Well done IM for 9 days...thats brill!! & just noticed how much you are saving too....its building up quickly.
YM Honey...23 for me ...whoo hoo I know its one day at a time but I am no longer craving a drink to calm me down in an evening. Thats a big change for me as stress is my major reason for drinking.
Stay strong everyone.
Night night

Just reading someone's report on the booze and how boozing made then so lethargic etc. well I find the opposite. I've been totally off for 4 1/2 months now and I have never felt so bad. Tired all the time, some weight gain (though kicked the fags as well so snacking more I know) but can't even get to the pool for a swim or the gym for a workout as no energy at all.
Depression can cause lethargy but I'm not that down. I know the little one takes it out of me a bit but I feel as though I need a kick start. Any ideas ?0 -
Hiya Property advert
I know what you mean - I feel wiped out at the moment (went to bed at 9.30 - woke up at 3am - lol)
I am trying to get out for a short walk everyday if I can (I am starting this agan tomorrow) I am often out alot for field work but somehow seem to have slipped into just going to work and coming home and its really affecting my energy levels and my mood.
Walking is great, you already have the equipment, its free and you can really feel the benefits of it quickly.
Goodluck and well done on abstaining for 4 1/2 months - what prompted you to stop and how have you managed to keep it up?
Gonna try and sleep now - but good luck and hang around , lots of lovely folks on here
YM another one for meTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
