Oh Molly- I missed that cause I was on here- call me naive, but what do you do with the orange? Just eat it like a normal orange? Thank god I hadn't thought of this in my drinking days- people at work would have been amazed to see me just bring oranges for my packed lunch.................
To be honest I wasn't watching that closely but what a way to get a Vodka & Orange:rotfl: As you say...Thank God we hadn't thought of that....Bet we would have had more than our 5 a day then eh.:rotfl::rotfl::happylove :happylove

Sat here waiting for the AA after paying an extra £52 to get them out as I only had Roadside and not Home Start, I'd rather pay £52 than try and push it up the road 1/4 mile in the rain
!!!!!! off with myself as I sucumbed (sp?) to a guinness last night, have no idea why.......oh no, hold on, maybe I do, I had to bus it all over town yesterday with 2 v. loud kids, carrying shopping that I could barely lift, in the rain. Got home then discovered I'd nearly run out of electric so had to go back out in said rain, waited for 2 buses which took forever to get electric, then passed the offy and thought eff it. Must be stronger and more controlled
Needless to say, failed the full monty and have head ache to boot
Thankfully I'm waiting for the AA man in my warm living room and not stuck out on a road somewhere in this dreadful weather.
Laters...
ETA: Angie, think I need to join you for a 1000 day challenge, I get your thinking totally. Well done xxx
Our sobriety gets tested most in testing circumstances. And when the !!!!!! is hitting the fan, this is when we really SHOULDN'T drink, but we do.
I drink (well, used to drink) because I am alcoholic. A tough day would be an excuse for me to pick up a drink.
I know with me, when I set myself target (for example, 7 days AF in a row) I would scupper it at the last minute, and never quite make my target. I was setting myself up for a fall, proving to myself that I couldn't stop drinking, and this chipped away at me, and made me drink more.
Alcoholism is so cunning, it will look for a moment of weakness and then pounce.
Put it behind you Jo, and make sure you do 31 days AF in December.
Jo not drinking = happy Jo
Jo drinking = angry, self loathing Jo
I know which one your kids want for Christmas, and which one you want to be.0 -

Morning :hello:
Still on 19
Good Luck
ShaggyWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Morning all!
Flying visit, still on the wagon, so this month's total is..
26 Novermber AFs for me, please GG.
Next month... I'm going to do my best, but it's my birthday, Xmas, New Year and my Mum's 75th in quick succession. So, for whomever's doing the honours, I think I'll aim for 25 Afs in December.
Hope all's well with everyone - I'll be back a bit more later this week.Proud to be dealing with my debtsDMP Mutual Support Thread member 337

GG - I am calling in 26 days for Nov (including today) thanks for scoring and give yourself a nice pat on the back!!
Morning chaps - slept terribly - thinking about work (all night)
But AF -
Good post GC - with alcohol I am a deranged maniac (well more than normal) and it shapes the whole of my evening (ie how to manipulate getting some and then I selfishly go into me shutdown mode) and one drink always leads to many. But, without it I seem to lead a pretty decent life thinking of others and generally (aside being a bit grumpy) I am happier.
Food for thought eh?Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
