My goodness 1000 days:eek:. I am soo impressed I just want to make 10 in a row (it makes me feel so pathetic!).
xx
Hi DD....no please don`t feel like that....you are doing brilliantly !! Every single day AF is such an achievement & honestly it was something I just was not able to do at all before August.
Something happened in my life that effected me very badly & I realised that I could not risk another episode so my total abstinence has partly been enforced.
Thankfully I now know that my drinking was habit & I so have replaced the drink with a non alcoholic drink & thankfully stuck to it.
I wish I could have cut down & not have a drink every day but I am not that strong. At least if its off limits totally then I don`t have to make or think about the decision to drink or not.
Not sure if that makes sense...I`m rambling...sorry.

Morning :hello:
I'm still on 19. Had 3 glasses of wine (about 6 units) last night over 5 hours. A lovely evening so it was worth it:D
Good Luck
ShaggyWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
Jo

HB glad to hear you're feeling better :T

My long term plan was to go AF November, have a few over Christmas and go for it from Jan, best laid plans and all that.
My head is somewhere else this week - a good place - and I've been having a can here and there, nothing I'm scared of or feel really guilty about, think I'm at 15/29.
But I need to stop, because my psoriasis has flared up again, after two weeks of low level drinking, it's the alcohol and the winter combined. So really I guess I'm allergic to it. Going AF this week. Is big family party weekend next week, don't know if I can cope. Then Chrimbo looms.
Sorry it's a selfish post. Hope you are all okDC.

Sat here waiting for the AA after paying an extra £52 to get them out as I only had Roadside and not Home Start, I'd rather pay £52 than try and push it up the road 1/4 mile in the rain
!!!!!! off with myself as I sucumbed (sp?) to a guinness last night, have no idea why.......oh no, hold on, maybe I do, I had to bus it all over town yesterday with 2 v. loud kids, carrying shopping that I could barely lift, in the rain. Got home then discovered I'd nearly run out of electric so had to go back out in said rain, waited for 2 buses which took forever to get electric, then passed the offy and thought eff it. Must be stronger and more controlled
Needless to say, failed the full monty and have head ache to boot
Thankfully I'm waiting for the AA man in my warm living room and not stuck out on a road somewhere in this dreadful weather.
Laters...
ETA: Angie, think I need to join you for a 1000 day challenge, I get your thinking totally. Well done xxxDFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -

AA man just left, took him an hour in the rain and cold (he was quite a looker:D:D), the engine was flooded. He's got it going again but said it does need a service and we're still not sure of why it happened in the first place
Off to do the Sunday shop with me mum now, hopefully, provided the car goes :undecided
