    This is all my fault, I said the words 'I would do absolutely ANTHING to not go to the party this weekend' yesterday :eek:....very superstitious colleague said, 'don't say that!! You've jinxed yourself now!!!'

    How the hell am I going to tell OH that car is okay now :confused: (though, obviously leave it till it's too late to drive to the party :shhh:)

    Why not disconnect a lead to something and then get a very knowledgable (sp) neighbour/friend to connect it back on.

    Then just try the car later when you have to go somewhere & be all surprised that it's working properly. He saw that it didn't work before so will have to accept it, surely? :confused:
