    Hi all

Wow Jo, I'm so impressed by your AF's to date-you must be so proud. Thanks for making me laugh this morning too.

Budgie-hope the old black dog has lifted and thankyou for your sensitive and thoughtful posts-I love reading them.

Miss Piggy- I've done that on ebay too!!! Couple of years ago DS wanted a XBOX game, and I won it after fierce bidding, not realising that OH had just opened an ebay acount and was upstairs on laptop bidding against me-felt so smug I'd beaten a 'newbie', then (obviously) I felt really stupid.

Had a friend around in tears last night- her OH has had a drink problem for ages so she gave him an ultimation-stop drinking or leave-so he's stopped drinking, which is great, except he's on day 3 and he's been so bad tempered and horrible to everyone she says he was better when he was drinking-can't win sometimes?!!

Hugs to everyone who needs them and well done to all of us I say- good luck everyone.
  • Just dashing in cos lunch break nearly over.

2 more AF days and my target of 16 achieved please GG.

Marru thanks for scoring; could you put me down for 10 in December please? I hope to manage more but realistically I have a lot of 'Dos' next month so I could well be tempted ;)

I am going to [STRIKE]run to the mountains[/STRIKE] drive to Malverns in couple of hours time. Keep the pledges coming and I shall catch up on Sunday evening when I am back.

Just a little thing. I don't like zeroes. Would it please please be ok with those people with no target to have a target of one? I have a reason for this but don't want to get all statistical :o

Oooh and my boss has promised me £1k per year towards my studies :j

  • ARGGHHH!!!!!

Sorry guys...had to scream and knew you lot would understand.

Its OH's birthday tomorrow and its kids weekend(we have his kids every other weekend). He's just found out that his daughter isn't coming as she is staying home to look after her poorly nan (she came out of hospital today). She didn't bother to let him know, just wasn't there when Granny went to pick them up. He is SO upset, poor bloke. I know kids do these sorts of things but I think its just about finished his week off.

    There....off my chest now.....and breathe....and breathe!!!

    Oh Miss P, I'm sorry free-cute-smileys-300.gif

Children can be thoughtless, & I don't mean that nastily, they're just not always used to thinking of others. It tends to be a skill we learn as we grow up. That being said, she's being lovely for staying home to look after her nan & probably wouldn't understand why anyone would be bothered.

Sorry, that's probably lots of randomness, I don't have children so always tricky for me, just trying to put a logical perspective on it
