HB,
That reminds me when I went shopping and bought some wine. The young lad on the checkout was under 18 so had to get authorisation to put the wine through. He picked up the phone and said Code 18 to his supervisor , he then looked me up and down and said " Yes she his DEFINETLY over 18":o:rotfl: Made me feel like an old biddy:rolleyes:
I did look young once. I used to often get asked for ID in pubs when i was 28:eek:. Not anymore alas.;)

Aww Jo, sounds a bit like me money wise, I think in future try and stock up on some dry ingredients and freeze some bits and pieces to drag out when no money around.
What about some tinned tomatoes, cheap onions and then make a big batch to freeze in protions and then add to some pasta and cheapie cheese. Get anything cheap cheap cheap to keep you going. Or tins of tuna and mix into mash for fish cakes or make into a pasta bake.
Hope something works out for you matey, esp with how well you have been doing lately x
Anyway I just popped on to say thanks guys for all the hugs and wishes - feel a little better now after opening the box of Thorntons I bought for ex for Christmas which I am now eating instead! Try applying for something for the over 50's. Works for me as I get refused every time and feel young at 470 -

Hope everyone has/had a good weekend. Starting new job tomorrow so aware I might get the 'Well done you deserve a bottle of wine' feeling come 6 o' clock. Might settle for some cashews instead!
