I think Mr T's have gone mad
Just bought some veg, a paper, some milk etc etc. Very dull, very boring, very non-alcoholic. POaid at the self-service till & had to "wait for approval due to restricted item"!!! The little Mr T guy had to come over & press to say I was over 25. I had to check no alcohol had rolled in by mistake! :rotfl:
Jo, hope you're going to be ok. I'm only the other side of 'town' if you need anything?@ LBM = £15,872.65, now £10,819.82AF Jan = 7/? Feb = 5/14 Mar = 14/20 Apr = 6/14 May = 2/14 June 2/14 July 0/TF Aug 1/TFv Sept 6/TF Oct 4/7"NEVER DOUBT YOUR OWN QUALITY"0 -

Obviously your reputation has gone before you HB and the self-serve till doesn't believe you haven't any alcohol!!:D
Sorry to hear about your funding crisis jo, wish we could help but a 'virtual' lend of my washing machine wouldn't be much use for the LOs uniforms. Shame they don't get 'virtually' messy. Any chance OH or DD1 has any money to help with childminder? Is it DS's birthday treats that have left you short?
Budgie, so pleased that misunderstanding with other thread got sorted. There are obviousy some nice people on there too judging by the apology you got. I do think it odd that they use the abuse facility to complain about merging. I think there are many over-zealous board guides on here generally and woe betide anyone who criticises them, it's as bad as admitting that you don't always eat free range chicken:rotfl:
fay, glad that DS is on the mend but sorry to hear he's been so generous with his germs.
Hope everyone is having a good Sunday. Weather is glorious here, what a change from yesterday. Off to footie later. 'bye for now.0 -

Hi Mari
Dear AF peeps, this may be a silly question, but can you freeze soup? Feel alljust typing that as I'm sure it's yes, you can. It's leek & potato & it will have a little double cream mixed into it & I won't eat it all before that could go off.
Also, if you can freeze it, do you have to defrost it before re-heating or can you just do it in a saucepan?
Yours gratefully

Still on 5/12 here and I've learnt that I can only count up to 4 and then things got hazy both nights. I don't know but I think I had about 600ml, about 10 units each night and apparently 558 calories. That's more than 3 times the recommended 3 units a day. 1116 calories just in wine friday and saturday night.

Not sure about today but back on the wagon tomorrow for sure.
Welcome dizzyduck - hope you're feeling good today? Even if you didn't manage an AFD keep posting, don't disappear on us hon! We are all imperfect humans so just keep on keeping on.
Honey bear, I often freeze soup and it's just as yummy when it defrosts, either slowly or cooking it to defrost it workd great. I generally make WW recipes so they don't usually have cream but skimmed milk freezes and tastes fine. Well done on putting your bottle of vino back in the fridge, I was dead impressed. And that over 25 thing at Mr T made me laugh, the idea that our profiles on our points cards set off an automatic must have wine alert!
Budgie I hope your back gets better and glad to hear that misunderstanding on your other post looks like it will be sorted. I know what you mean about venturing off here, it's a scary world out there!
Fedupski hugs, chocolate mousse is good. Not sure what else you can do except expect nothing of yourself and give yourself time and freedom to wallow at the moment. Hugs.0 -
