Think I`ve changed it...phew....all that bright red writing will keep me awake:D

ps YM...far too much info on AutumnWatch especially just as I was just drinking my horlicks:eek::eek::D:D
  • Morning everyone. Well given the time I'm posting again it may not be a surprise if I confess that I drank too much last night (Cider this time so at least my body is getting a different variety of poison in - is that a balanced diet!) and have been awake a couple of hours now.

    Welcome Gien.

Dreamonsu I am sooo jealous - tell us - were they great?

Fay, thank you for being so honest. It must be odd to pop on here and find everyone exalting your greatness at the same time as a slip. Thanks for telling us what happened. Mmmm fish finger sandwiches - yum!

Right, back to bed for me.

Still 3/12 for me please GG
  • Morning had a quick catch up, Welcome Gien, and Fay I too am half of 93, so I really have to start making the next 41 and a half years count :)

Am pleased to say I made to 5/29 (changed target GG ) and it was a close call last night. Friday night feeling, cooking dinner, Steve Wright /Chris Evans playing some good cooking music, thought I could just pop out, get a four pack, or there is half a bottle of white in the fridge. (I don't even like wine so why consider it ?) Fought it off.

It's a good feeling to come out on top.:j

I had 6 units last night. I'm off out tonight but I really am going to try to just have one glass of wine (2 units). Then AF until next weekend.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

I am sure I still make silly typos but the funniest was few years back when now ex asked me to put some beer on the shopping list - and what did I put? Bear! Oh dear he couldn't understand what he was supposed to buy :rotfl:

This was sheer genius, Marru :D

YM, I refuse to quote your Autmnwatch post as it was just too traumatic

    Good morning hellowave.gif

Feeling really good today, something has shifted this week and I feel like my old self (i.e. my old self from over 9 year ago) suddenly. Oooh - I just wish this will last.

I came across this: HS10026.gif so couldn't resist putting it in here. I am sure one of you could use one.

My friend is bringing her 2 year old here in half an hour. Double bonus, making favour for friend and getting DD off my hair while I need to get some chores done.

  • that's 6 for me please GG
  • Morning Peeps :D

Doing Ok this week - averaging slightly over 4 units per day ... almost at the top end of the RDA. I've been told to aim for 24 units a week over the next couple of weeks -ie gradually ease it down so that by the a couple of weeks time I should be 3-4 units a night on average.

    Hope everyone is OK.

On the sawbench this morning as we have loads of wood to cut up for the fire.

Then (Fay) its a count up of how many trees we are going to plant for the hedging ;) ......

    then the pig arks ....

then replace the gate on the barn ......

No rest for the wicked
