Hi all
5 please GG
Rushing in and out again - home late, lots to do before go to bed and then up early - but it keeps me off the wine and focussed... Well done, Mrs Dee. A shining example for us!

Evening,
A bit behind schedule tonight, but better late than never and all that.
Well I have to say the responsibility of doing the scoring is initially quite scary, but actually turns out to be quite wonderful and there are a few reasons for that:
- Seeing folks like Jo and Fay, who like me have been pretty much long-term habitual daily drinkers and are moving towards AF-ness and turning in the numbers every day - respect! :T
- The amazing efforts of folks like Angie who've made a commitment and are sticking to it come hell or high water - amazing achievement. :j
- Getting the numbers in from folks like Changing Ways, who you've not heard from in days and you worry might have slipped, and then they report in with a cracking score - tremendous! :j
So...without further ado...the scores on the doors are below. And thanks again for making my job so much easier with the BIG RED fonts!

Well done to all the TFT gang x
Nite HB and all ]
HTMAFF (hoping to manage an AF Friday)
That's why I do one day at a time. I don't know if I am going to be AF next week. However I know I can be AF for tomorrow and tomorrow only. I can go 24 hrs without picking a drink up, and that's what I am gonna do.
Just one day at a time
I would find myself swearing off drink for the rest of my life, however I would always end up having a drink later on!! That's my alcoholism.
It didn't want me to quit drinking0 -
3 for me please GG

Know what you mean about the scoring.
Takes a while to set up the list and get it all set up but after that it is not toooo bad.
Even better that I have done it recently so my time not due yet ;o)0 -
2AF please GG.
'night all.0 -
Still on 3 GG
Fireworks and too much wine (a bottle I think, 2 between 2 and I had a head start on OH) and I enjoyed it a lot right up until 4 in the morning when I woke up very dehydrated. Off to get some more sleep again now.0 -
Morning :hello:
WBF glad you enjoyed your evening
Hope you don't suffer too much today
I had an AFD so 4 for me GG. I'm going to try and have an AFD day today. I'm feeling good and another AFD will help me with my monthly target.
Good Luck
ShaggyWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Hello everyone, can I join in? I'm loving reading your posts.
I particularly empathise with 69chick and GraemeCarter. I often think during the day that I don't want alcohol anymore and then cave in the evening.
I've had an AF Mon, Tues & Wed this week, been enjoying some lovely nighttime herbal tea and sleeping really well. But last night I had wine and boy do I feel different this morning. Giddy and badly focussed. So I, like 69chick (is that the year of your birth like me?) am going to try for an AF Friday which I haven't had since 2007. But I'm craving the peaceful unbuzzy head.
So how does it work with the AF days? Do we pledge so many a month like no spend days or are they like say 5 days in succession?
Thanks everyone!Wendy x0 -
Good Morning,
Can I drag my sorry backside back into this thread please? I was posting a while ago, in a half hearted attempt, and have since had a pretty abysmal time of it - way too much to drink, too busy and more than a few 'lost days' through feeling too bad/hungover to do anything.
I feel completely pathetic and disappointed in myself.
I think I have to take everyday as it comes. So, I will spend sometime catching up on this thread and today I will not have a drink. Maybe if I can avoid having the first one I won't end up drinking the bottle.
Enjoy your Friday.Trying to keep in budget.
