I don't go to boozy places now, not because I'd be tempted to drink, but because being around crowds of drunk people makes me feel intimidated and I can feel the tension rising and I start to think theres going to be a fight or something and I just want to go.

I used to feel that the only way to get by in those situations was to drink and somehow blend in.

Had I been more assertive I would have simply not gone in the first place.

All's fine in here...and if I was to say that I'm a different person it wouldn't be too far off the mark.

THere always was hope....now I know it is true.

    Hi Bis...good to see you.:hello:

Toby....I know what you mean about drinking more tea..I seem to be addicted to lime & sparkly water...drinking loads of it...still the increased water intake is healthier I guess.

Regarding the sleep thing 69chick....I have been AF since end Aug & still sleep not better....I still wake groggy & feel very tired in the mornings like I`ve been awake all night. Oddly I think that alcohol used to give me a few hours of deep sleep that I just don`t get now.

I dream more too:eek::eek:...last night I dreamt that all my teeth were rotten & falling out:confused::confused::confused:maybe I`m just weird....my teeth are pearly white btw:D

Anyway going to be 5 for me GG please.
