Ooooh forgot to say well done on the rabbit Jo...my DD has one (house rabbit) & it loves a little soft dog bed that it sits in & also plays with little soft rattly dog toys.

....hmmmm DD wanted a dog actually.....little mite may have an identity crisis before long:confused::D:D
  • Jo - a house rabbit, how lovely, but is the hutch in your house?

Maman - I know what you mean about the hangovers nowadays - I thought it was cos I'm getting older, but it must be due to the reduced tolerance.

PIR, yes the hutch is in DS's bedroom, she won't be bearing the elements ever, the kids still won't leave the bluddy thing alone  she's happy though, enjoyed the carrot last night and munching on a sprout as we speak. House needs to be de-rabbit'fied properly yet so can't let her roam without keeping a close eye

Deposited OH at the station and now back, about to have thai chicken soup with a buttered roll then my best reduced purchase this week, a Star Wars Clone Wars birthday cake (well just 'one' slice of it ) reduced from £8.50 to £1.70 :D:D:D Second non-birthday reduced celebration cake we've had this week. We lit a candle and sang to the rabbit to welcome her to the house :D well, had to have an excuse to celebrate with something, I can't drink afterall :rotfl:

Thank you so much to Fay for the fantastic scoring and well done to everyone for the amazing efforts this month, specially with all the challenges. Pats on back all round, well done!! drunksmilie.gif oops, wrong one friends_smilie.gif

Off to watch Saw V on Sky (all on my lonesome ) and eat cake and drink hot choklit bullar_smilie.gif

  • Well done on the bargain cake, Jo. There were some great bargains in the supermarket reduced sections this week - so many people went on holiday for a few days over half term.

I'm going to a 'spinning' class tomorrow am - that'll be a first for a Sunday morning, usually just go to the gym with a hangover. Mr PIR has had two beers and a bottle of red tonight - don't know how he could. He says he's joining me for an AF November, but we'll see.

Pumpkin candle blown out now, another Halloween just about over - hurrayy!

    Night night dearest friends

    xx

  • Hi All

Well I've hit my rock bottom. I went out with DH and 3 DDs last night to celebrate DH's birthday and got completely drunk in the restaurant by drinking lots of wine. My DDs were embarrassed with their drunken mother. I just cannot control it when I start - I can't just have a couple of glasses of wine. I feel terrible both with guilt and physically. I've just got to cut it out completely.

I'm going to go for completely AF November ie 30 days, please GG. This is the first time I've set myself a completely AF target, but I've been finding that whilst it has got easier to ignore any cravings to achieve my targets each month, on my alcohol-allowed days, I've been drinking approx 12-14 units, which is a week's units in one night.

Sorry to be so despondent today. I'm going to make a real, real effort now. I've got to think of positive things about myself, I'm just feeling so annoyed with myself today.

Sending you big hugs PIR:A . I will be your buddy for the next 30 days;) . Please don't beat yourself up ... it was a blip.... you are one of our constant acheivers (sp?):T:T

    Love

    40SM:D
