Hi Guys,
Sorry for not being about much this week. I am reporting a total of 16 af days please Fay, thankyou so much for scoring this month, you have been and are totally fab :T Hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I shall pop off now to catch up with whats been going on?
I hope everyone is ok and getting to where they want to be?
Can I just ask, does anyone have much experience with the Tax Credit office? Mr BB as you know he is out of work and his jsa ended in July. I rang to make a claim for Wtc, (I have never claimed before only child tax credit about 6-7 years ago). I was informed that I needed to resume my old claim and I gave all the relevant information etc. To cut a long story short this was incorrectly put into the computer and I was awarded nil. I rang up, they apologised etc and had to do a referral. This in total has been going on for three months, I rang yesterday to be told that I NEED TO MAKE A NEW CLAIM, again I was apologised to and informed that the error should have been previously noticed
I have now got to wait for the pack to come, when I send it back I need to enclose a letter re: my complaint. If anyone could give me any advice then I would be very grateful.
Sorry for the tax credit post
Hugs to you all and lots of love

Hi All
Well I've hit my rock bottom. I went out with DH and 3 DDs last night to celebrate DH's birthday and got completely drunk in the restaurant by drinking lots of wine. My DDs were embarrassed with their drunken mother. I just cannot control it when I start - I can't just have a couple of glasses of wine. I feel terrible both with guilt and physically. I've just got to cut it out completely.
I'm going to go for completely AF November ie 30 days, please GG. This is the first time I've set myself a completely AF target, but I've been finding that whilst it has got easier to ignore any cravings to achieve my targets each month, on my alcohol-allowed days, I've been drinking approx 12-14 units, which is a week's units in one night.
Sorry to be so despondent today. I'm going to make a real, real effort now. I've got to think of positive things about myself, I'm just feeling so annoyed with myself today.Total AFD's May-December 2009: 178 ie 73% of total days (245 days)
Target January: 25 actual: 24 Target Feb: 22 actual 22 Target March: 26 Actual: 24 Target April: 25 Actual: 50 -
(((((((hugs PIR))))))))))
I can say that I do know what you mean about overdrinking on the 'allowed' days - don't beat yourself up - your 'old tolerance' levels are vastly reduced - so no wonder some wine when out hit you hard.
Don't beat yourself up about it - you've decided you're trying a new tactic - and you now NO longer drink so you can feel very proud of that decision
By the way

Thanks, Fay. I've apologised to all my DDs and told them not to follow my example.Total AFD's May-December 2009: 178 ie 73% of total days (245 days)

Pricey Hugs hunny (()) sorry to hear you sounding so down, well done on going for 30 af days in November :T We all know how you are feeling, but today is a new day, look forwards now sweetheart and not back. We all think you are fab :A (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Jo sweetheart I love the new bunny, but yes I fear it may be that the novelty factor will wear off. (I speak from experience)We inherited a bunny from my uncle once, his name was Gerald. Mr BB was not happy as his wee turned the lawn yellow :rotfl:Oh and my Ds soon lost interest too. Btw well done on all your af days :T You are doing fantastically well Angel. Hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Btw GG can I please go for 15 again in November? Hope you are well? Thanks for scoring hun, and lets hope the X Factor is good tonight and J and E go, go, go (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi all, not sposed to be on here but catching up...
PIR oh dear, feel for you, I'm still "getting away with it" with DD; 10 yrs old but naive (or stupid??? lol) never seems to notice. Except when I forget stuff (but she's worse than me - never listens!!)
wbf sorry but I did laugh at your toast & choc binge; I always do the toast thing!
Jo what can I say? soooo well done!! I'll miss your pic if it's today   cos have really only got 2 mins & am off again.
London was fab - walked my legs off & still sore! I so love being back there... I'm so good at ducking & diving thro crowds & now so is DD. & how lucky were we to see Danii switch on the xmas lights at Harrods....
Hi to everyone not mentioned; sorry in a rush...
Back Monday - invoking womo clause again next month (for our younger readers, "when on my own")..that's when I want to quit drinking...GG I read your posts & equally feel affronted, but for me that is the big problem, I don't overdo it when I'm out but am stupid when sat on my own here, without the pleasure, ie it's not social drinking. But I don't see any problem with drinking alone if you can control it; I can't, but the old stigma of "drinking alone is the thin end of the wedge" I don't nec. believe in.
omg what woffle; have a good rest of weekend. Have got my glow-in-dark nails on, & pumpkin earrings, don't really need a horror mask0
