    115K - I know what you mean about evenings dragging a bit. I did have a tendency to look at the clock all evening, almost willing it to be ten o'clock, at which point the offy would close and that particular temptation would be over for another night. However, what I've found is that if I go and have a bath or shower and get into pyjamas by 8ish I don't feel quite so inclined to nip out again.

    Yes. It's learning to break a habit and avoiding triggers also.:)

    I think although I do have a drinking problem I can help myself by providing a distraction in the evenings. Sitting in front of the TV or internet makes me want to reach for some food and alcohol constantly. I just need to divert my attention.

    Sorry for posting and running yesterday but I rarely get any time alone without people nosing over my shoulder trying to get a look at what im doing :rolleyes:
    Anyway I did the test and got 17. So still dont know where that leaves me!
    Agree with the comment somebody made ( sorry cant remeber who :o ) that if it hadnt been covered so much about recommended units I also would have happily carried on as I was!
    No more AFD to report ...suprise suprise :rolleyes:
