T'is a tricky one about work, number of hours etc isn't it! I did an extra job for months, which was supposed to be 2 days a week (thus making me full time) but often more (thus making me exhausted)! I think one full time job is probably easier to manage than two part time jobs, but I think like you we would have to make lots of changes for me to work full time - and get a cleaner! I do quite a lot of hours a week voluntary work as a Training Manager, but its nice being able to pick and choose what to do. Sometimes I do wonder about doing the same number of hours but paid, and like you that money does beckon sometimes! I think temporary jobs or temp increases in hours are the way to go for me, I like the variety of doing something and then having a change (and catching up on the housework).
Have a good day...

Hi CBM
I'm getting ready for bed now - another long day!! Had a NSD today. Tomorrow I am doing a presentation in London so getting up at 5.00 a.m. - very early mornings just don't suit me. Everything should be paid for and I should get all my expenditure back.
I've finally booked our hotel in Paris and I will let you know what it's like it was very reasonable so could be a dump but I hope not.

I'd forgotten about Paris, that must be quite soon?
Hope your presentation goes well - despite the early start.

I hate early starts too PBH - I have to get up for work at 05.40 every day! However, this is because it takes me over an hour to get ready! I aim to leave the house at 07.10 but just lately it seems to get later and later. The annoying thing is I still wake up at the same time at the weekend. Hope everything went well for you today.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Presentation went well thanks everyone. Been back to London for my brothers 50th birthday party which was great fun. Didn't cost me anything!!!
Had a bit of a breakthrough with DD and her money. She has withdrawn all her wages and has worked out when she will need money and has put it in individual envelopes so that it will last the month!!!! I am so pleased after the last few months when she's spent it all in the first weekend I was beginning to despair.
New month starts tomorrow so I need to work out how much I am going to allow for groceries etc.
Nothing much going on for me this week excepy work, work and more work!!Snowball DF Nov 2017Jan 2011 MBNA £2634.66 Feb £2608.37 Mar £2561.860 -
Glad to hear that all was well with work and play in London!
And what a break through with DD and money. There is hope maybe for my youngsters then, you'll have to let us know how she gets on.

Oh dear I'm feeling a bit despondent today I've just worked out how much I've paid towards my debts and about 60% of it has gone in interest. None of the cards will negotiate a lower rate and I can't get any nore cards because I've still got loads of credit available to me. Sorry about the moan but I must do something about this urgently.
If every penny I was paying was clearing the balance not interest my debts would be coming down quickly.
