I didn't have much luck with utilities but I'm sure ours are far too high. There are 3 of us living in a 4 bed detached house and we are paying £90 a month electricity and £59 a month gas. We only get a statement every 6 months so I've no idea where we are with it!!!
LT - figures will follow but I'm waiting for all the statements to come in. I know I'm still spending too much on casual trips to the supermarket for one or two "bits"!!
We are going away for the weekend so after today I won't be online until next Wednesday. I hope it stops raining.Snowball DF Nov 2017Jan 2011 MBNA £2634.66 Feb £2608.37 Mar £2561.860 -
Dear Diary
I'm back from my mini break and had a fabulous time. OH had saved up and paid for everything which was great. I've been paid today but haven't actually spent anything. Had a friend to my house for lunch instead of going out which was very relaxing - jacket potato, cheese & salad from the garden.
I've done a monthly menu plan and am going to have a go at ordering it all at once online so I only have to shop occasionally for milk, fruit 7 veg. That's the plan anyway!!
Off to online shop now.Snowball DF Nov 2017Jan 2011 MBNA £2634.66 Feb £2608.37 Mar £2561.860 -

Oh dear I had hoped to be able to reduce considerably but maybe we are not paying too much after all. Thanks Elantan.
Yesterday we went to a car boot sale and I only bought plums, apples and runner beans and a bag of wool - in total about £2.
I've put in my Tesco order for the month amd it should come to about £125 so I am going to really try to keep the months shopping to under £250 preferably about £200.
Hope everyone's enjoying the lovely sunny bank holiday.
Off out soon for a stroll by the beach before a meal out courtesy of vouchers from Mr T so only drinks to pay for.Snowball DF Nov 2017Jan 2011 MBNA £2634.66 Feb £2608.37 Mar £2561.860 -
