well done for coming back and for tackling your debts in the mean time. We've all disapeared at one stage or another, and have always been lucky if the debt has gone down in the mean time.0

I regularly have a break-does you good to re focus and get some enthusiasm back. Welcome back.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Welcome back, you were missed. I too need a bit of motivation and inspiration for much the same reasons as you. I can't retire until the mortgage is gone, and it is not going down anywhere near fast enough.0

Hi BOB & Toots & LT
I am so glad I restarted my diary yesterday it's like meeting up with a bunch of old friends again.
I popped to my local co-op (was Somerfield) this morning to buy 6 bottles of Blossom Hill wine for £14.19 - bargain! I didnt buy anything else only because I would have to note it on here. Then I called into the newsagents to buy the Daily Mail (daughter wants the Elvis DVDs) and looked at magazine offer 2 of my favourite mags for £4.99 and guess what I resisted and I'm so glad I did. If I had bought them I would have read them by now and that would have been a fiver for nothing.
This afternoon I'm meeting a friend for tea & cake instead of lunch - much cheaper.
See how good I am when I'm keeping my diary!!
Back later.
