Just realised i've not updated in here for a while now

    Still to do:
Send out wedding invites - now this is getting urgent, have everyone else already sent out?
    Agree on florist, DJ,
    Order cake
    Order suits
    wedding dress choosing
Pay rest of deposits on venue, reception, photographer

Question, what did people use for invites? Seems to me to be very expensive, I wondered what options people used?

    You sound like me :)
I have yet to send invites out (made my own from hobbycraft) but having panic attacks about it now!
Have got dress & paid deposits for most things but we still haven't done the suits, florist, cake (well I'll buy it next month & decorate myself) or wedding list.

Having MAJOR panic attacks about the bridesmaids dresses - I'd decided on the BHS ones but they are withdrawing them from the shops and have no sizes in stock online. Don't know what to do - haven't seen ANY others I like anywhere :(

check out debenhams, we found the bridesmaids ones there, some look amazing online, but when tried on looked shocking, ended up getting 2 dresses totally different to what went into the shop for. If buying over the net also can get cashback LOL

  • Hi ladies, we have all gone a bit quiet considering how close it's getting!
We are down to 53 days and counting.
OH finally started on his speech last night and has now realised it is not the 5 minute job he thought it would be. He has started getting more involved with the planning the last week or so which has been lovely. He keeps coming home from work with all these new ideas and it makes me love him even more!

I am hoping to get my shoes, underwear and jewellery on Thursday and we are doing the seating plan this week now we have RSVPs back. Still to decide on music though and only have just over a week left to decide before we get the info back to the registrar! eeeeek!

How are you all getting on? xxxx

I had my final dress fitting last Sat, still 1 BM to have her's which is on the 1st she wanted to leave it later because she's loosing weight. Whilst we were in the wedding shop my mom bought my jewellery - bless her.

I don't need a bra with my dress (thank goodness) so ordered a lovely pair of ivory knickers from debenhams.

I was having a bit of a flap about this volcano thing, we'd started thinking about our Plan B which would be having to drive to Spain but thank goodness that doesn't seem to be an issue now.

My mom lives in Spain and is stuck at my house but hopefully, fingers crossed it stays as it does and she'll fly back on Sunday.

We seem to be going through a stage of paying out money all the time at the moment, i'll be glad when that stops lol.

6 Weeks today and I get married - Soooo exciting.
  • Hi girlies - are days are getting closer ! OMG - starting to panic now. My laid back approach is now coming and biting me on the bum lol. Been to dressmaker today as she needs to alter my dress - will be ready in 3 weeks time - 3 weeks before the day! Bridemaid dress also being altered. Still need to get flower girls shoes and get their dresses taken in - waiting couple more weeks for that though. Still have gifts to buy, favours to make up, table decorations. I am so far behind !!
