    Hi fellow brides! :-)
It's exciting reading about others plans and organisation - I'm getting married on Saturday 5th June 2010 so I had to join in when I saw so many other June brides! How lovely!

    So far, I have:

    *Booked and paid for venue.
*Got my dress and shoes :-)
*Got my four bridesmaid dresses and shoes
*Got the bridemaids presents and ushers/bestmans presents
    *Paid deposit for DJ
    *Bought all centre pieces
    *Paid deposit for florist
    *Booked church
*Paid deposit on wedding rings (mine's platinum, his is palladium!) :-)
    *Paid deposit to caterer
*Paid deposit to balloon decorating company
    *Paid deposit for wedding cars
    *Paid for honeymoon! :-)
*Decided on hair and makeup for me and bridesmaids, including manicure and pedicure for groom!
    *Paid deposit for table linen
*Paid deposit for wedding cake - wonderful lady in Hertfordshire (Cakes by Jackie her company is called and she is well worth a visit)
*Got fitting for the groom, best man, F.O.B. and usher's on 21st November
    *Paid deposit for photographer
    *Picked invitations
*Sent out save the dates a few months ago
*Chosen songlist for DJ to play
    *have finalied guest list
    *have favour boxes

*Still got to send out invitiations
    *Have hair and makeup consultation
*order placecards and invitations and bubbles for tables

I think it's really cool being able to compare each other's status as it prompts you to think of other things! Thanks guys! And good luck! Hope you all enjoy your special day and have fun doing all the preparation! ;-)

Trying to find shoes at the moment, and desperate to get bridesmaids dresses but have to wait due to one being heavily pregnant and other wanting to lose a lot of weight before the wedding....sooo frustrating but I must be patient!

Good for you for all being so organised with your lists.
As always, happy to help with any advice. Get Christmas over and done with and your dates will get closer very quickly!!
  • Oh dear! I'm 5th June too and you all seem way ahead of me! I've been busy at work and uni at the moment but am going to try and get loads sorted before Christmas so I can chill over the holidays!

We are looking at another venue tonight as the one we wanted won't be suitable for the older guests and the caterers as access is up some stairs and down a small alley!
