  • Love your dress Salesadmin!

Haven't really done much regarding the wedding this week but think I want a sweetei bar/table at the wedding! They look amazing and we are big sweetaholics! Was thinking of incorporating it into table decs instead but think I prefer the look of a 'bar/buffet' type table.

Have been playing around on vistaprint for the invitations, really want to send them out but it's wayyyyyy too early I know.

How are all your plans coming along?

  • I can't wait, the gardens are gorgeous..Just a bit stressful to organise from over here but im sure it'll all come together.

I love the look of them too, I keep looking on ebay for LOVE plates (letters) but no luck as yet, I have found some new but they're about £35 and like most people we'r on a budget..Im going to get bowls and dishes from Ikea, they seem to be the chepaest but I would like the LOVE plates as a centre piece.

Just realised i've not updated in here for a while now

    Still to do:
Send out wedding invites - now this is getting urgent, have everyone else already sent out?
    Agree on florist, DJ,
    Order cake
    Order suits
    wedding dress choosing
Pay rest of deposits on venue, reception, photographer

Question, what did people use for invites? Seems to me to be very expensive, I wondered what options people used?

For invites i would of loved the fancy ones but just couldnt afford them so i got the simple flat paper ones which were £1.20 for 20 invites and printed the rsvp on-line. Most people will either throw them away or chuck them in a draw anyway which is how i justified not making the fancy ones.

I'm getting soooo excited! Chose first couple of dances and some other requests for the DJ for during the evening. I burnt all the songs on a CD and I love it! Can't wait for the evening party - the point where you can just relax completely and go nuts. :D

Thought I ought to push this up a bit, since we're all getting close! :j

We've almost sent out all the invites - just need to pop to the Post Office for overseas stamps...

It's been my turn to have some wobbles though, just feel like it's too much to do and it's turning into a hassle rather than something exciting and fun. Think I need a few days of not thinking about it to chill. It's OH's birthday at the weekend so that'll keep my mind off things for a little while anyway! Does anyone else feel like this? I'm really looking forward to being married to OH, it's just feeling a bit too much to organise right now... :(

Hope it's all going well for the rest of you

I went to see the place we are having our wedding party yesterday, sorted out the food and that we're ok to have the England v USA game on the big screen, I love footie and at least I know people won't be staying away to watch the footie.

My 2 youngest bridesmaids tried on their dresses on Sat, they loved them thank goodness...You could tell they were really nervous before hand but as soon as they had them on they wouldnt stop grinning, they looked so gorgeous.

Next thing sn my dress fitting and more BM dress fittings on 17th April.

Its all going really well in Gib/Spain, got my mom sorting any reception stuff that needs to be done.

I'm getting so excited now xx

Hope its going well for everyone else xxx

JenE I had my wobble 2 weeks ago, I felt really down and me and my OH had a few quibbles but thats all sorted and we're both really excited. I'm sure it must be normal to get nervous and stressed. xxxx
