June 2010 Brides (and grooms)

Hey guys and gals.

I felt left out, as couldn't find a June thread.

I'm getting married on the 12th June.

We have so far:

Venue: Booked and deposit paid
Registrar: Paid in full (they are coming to the venue)
My dress: Picked but not ordered
Bridesmaid dresses: picked but not ordered
Suits: Booked and deposit paid
Photographer: Booked and deposit paid
Cake: looked at M+S
Invitations: Making myself - RSVP cards and Save the date cards
Picked Flowers, Cars, table decorations, chair covers, backdrops etc

Cake booked
Photographer and videographer chosen
Dress in my parents wardrobe (!!!)
Bms dresses chosen
Invites ready to be made
Flower pretty much sorted
Still need to: order centrepieces, get my bloke to sort out his suit etc lol

11th June 2010!!

• Venue booked and deposit paid
• Registrar provisionally booked, been to give notice, awaiting confirmation
• Wedding night accommodation booked and deposit paid
• Photographer booked, need to pay deposit tonight
• Honeymoon #1 booked and deposit paid*
• Chosen bridesmaids, arranged for them to come dress shopping on October 24th (I'm in Essex, one is in Berkshire, one in Edinburgh!)
• Looked briefly into DJs - need to contact them
• Know how I want to do the invites (going to make them)

We only got engaged on August 30th, so I think I've done quite well.

* We're doing safari and beach for the main honeymoon, but later in the year when it's a better time for it. Straight after the wedding we're doing a week at a hotel in the Lake District that we adore and have been to for a holiday for the last two Junes:

They have an amazing chef and the food is probably our favourite we've had anywhere. I think it'll be really relaxing to go somewhere familiar after the wedding day, and we'll still have the excitement of the big honeymoon to come

Church/Reception venue booked, deposits paid
Disco/Band booked, deposits paid
Photographer booked, deposits paid
Wedding dress is bought
Most of the Grooms outfit is bought!
Wedding cupcakes sorted
Started to plan/make my own invites
Transport booked, deposits paid

So far, I think we have all the important things pretty much sorted

Had the registrar confirmation today so it's 100% definitely happening. Soooo excited. 265 sleeps to go. :j

Just sorting Photographer and dress out

My venue is at a golf club, it has a really nice view,

I Love your venue's there lovely and honeymoons look lovely too,
I went cancun last year. it's such a lovely place with so many things to do. but at the same time is a lovely chill holiday too. I really loved it there.

18th June here - but got very little sorted - can't get OH to make a decision about anything!

Reception venue booked
Fireworks being booked tomorrow
Church reserved but not booked - they want to know readings & music and I haven't thought about that yet! (update 23/9/09 Think I've sorted the readings!)
Got to talk to Mum about invites & cake
Trying to get OH to sort car (like getting blood from a stone) (update 23/9/09 - I've done the cars :rolleyes:)
Think got OH's outift planned (just need to order - full dress kilt)
Think I know what photographer I want (extortionate but hey!)
OH's band will play all night with a guest drummer
One of my bridesmaids is coming shopping with me on 24th October too!!

Having cake issues - H2B has coeliac disease so in search of decent gluten-free cake. Hmmmmmm.

I have found the package I want at a local beauty place. St Tropez tan, make up trial and on the day, french manicure, and facial £80. And my hairdresser is coming to the house to do my and my 6 bridesmaids hair.

We aren't allowed fireworks.

oh my you are all so organised!! Getting married 5th June, church booked for 4th June, (had to change date but haven't changed church yet - I know they are free though!) not decided on ANYTHING yet!!! I think I need to get a move on
