It boggles me how much people think that it is OK to comment on one of the most personal decisions a couple can make. If you want 4 kids and can give them all the time and support they need, then it is nobody's business except yours. My partner's brother has 4 boys and you wouldn't believe how many people voice some very odd opinions about it. At the other end of the scale, I've chosen not to have kids & that doesn't go down too well with most people either!

always bear in mind that no.4 might actually be no.4+5 or even no.4+5+6!

I agree with sazza42. It is unbelievable how rude people can be if you are pregnant or they know you are trying to conceive. I have two wonderful boys and we are thinking about trying for more children. I was fed up of the comments when I was pregnant with number 2, 'was it planned?' - yes thank you if it is any of your business, 'do you know what you are having?' - looked like a baby from the last scan...:rolleyes: and I know it will just get worse if we have more...'oh I expect you are hoping for a girl now then' etc.
