  • Depends on what the Per Una tops are like, I think leggings with a tunic or one of those smocky-type tops is a cute look
  • There floaty and pretty and skim the figure and kind of dressy. Ive got loads from different shops they go well with jeans, trousers and hopefully leggings as well.

Jury is still out here. I remember them the first time round and I really don't know if I want to do it again. I have bought a pair but they have yet to be seen in public.

And ski pants as well, I had a pair of herringbone ski-pants and I thought I was the bees knees, then the elastic started stretching on the foot, so it was half way up the ankle.

Thank you -brought a smile to my face. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • I like leggings on the right person and ONLY with long tops. I haven't worn mine in a while as all my long tops seem to have shrunk a couple of inches and now aren't quite long enough!

I've been quite tempted to buy the sass and bide black rats leggings, I'm sure leggings are going to be in fashion for a while so might get some for my winter wardrobe :D
  • I don't know and tbh I don't care. They look awful imo and I haven't been wearing them.

Your legs are so short most people would think they were socks anyway:D
Who I am is not important. What I do is.

I LOVE the black rats, way out of my budget though :(

I love leggings, I'm tall with long legs and constantly feel the cold, so I like the added warmth they can bring and have the stature to pull them off.
That said, I only wear them as I would tights...I wouldn't wear a normal length top with tights, so I don't with leggings.
I also go for full length rather than mid calf and generally wear them with boots over flats or flipflops.

In my town, all I ever see is young girls in denim minis, stomach baring tops with calf length leggings and ugg style boots.

Or older women in leggings, too short tops and crocs.

Sad times. I live in the town that fashion forgot.

Oh AB, you have so much to learn about the charms of us smaller women. Diamonds are rarely large. smiley-taunt002.gif

  • I love leggings and will definitely be stocking up for winter - though primark ones I've had have been so thin and fall down at the bum - I did have a couple of great pairs from peacocks when they first became fashionable - but they don't seem to do them in 2 packs anymore.

As long as you have some nice boots, long tops/tunics/dresses and cardi's you can wear them without looking ridiculous.

I do have one friend who insists on wearing them like trousers just to show off how much weight she's lost. But you always see her knickers through the fabric and actually I may as well see her naked for amount you can see.... not nice

can't wait to get some chocolate uggs to go with my leggings..... but biker boots are my usual style

I think new look leggings are quite good - going to test when I go birthday shopping next week so will check back then!

  • As lacy tights are a bit trendy at the moment (apparently) I was considering dragging out an old pair of black brocade leggings to combine the two looks. Bad idea?

FAB idea!! They have some great ones in H&M atm..

Gotta admit, Im a great fan of leggings, wear them under dresses and skirts for all occasions, work and out!! I found them a saviour as I've never been a fanof my legs, so have always been one for black tights, footless etc, and leggings seemed the natural step from there!
