We are using them but we have only just started really. Apparently my searches got requested on Wednesday. I am having to pay extra for environmental search as mortgage company want it and it wasn't part of my original quote.0

Hi
The sellers of the house we are buying are using them.
A. They sent documents with the wrong purchase price
B. Our solicitor says they are very slow to respond
C. Indication from the seller that they are having to re-send documents already sent before
I can safely say because of their flaws we have been delayed by a week and counting !0 -
our buyers have used them and they are very slow dont call back to my solicitors or estate agents miss lay paper work. stay well clear :mad:0

It's very hit and miss. I can understand why people give them 5 stars, and I probably would have done if I hadn't had such a terrible experience with them. From what I can make out, you've basically got one main solicitor John Pugh, a gaggle of trainee solicitors fresh out of law school, and a bunch of assistants fresh out of college who want to make the step up. So one solicitor and a bunch of kids. With the assistants getting strict instructions not to bother the trainee solicitors. So it's fine if there aren't any issues with the purchase, but if you veer off the script, then the wheels fall off. Whilst their quote saved me £400 from the local solicitors, I'll probably end up losing all that from hidden costs.0

Terrible experience with this company during sale conveyance, but fantastic experience with a different conveyancer in same company for subsequent purchase. Sale conveyancer was slow to respond, if at all, to emails and calls, overlooked requests and information, caused endless delays to what should have been a quick and easy cash purchase in a no chain situation. In the end it took 12 weeks to complete, plus a further 2 weeks to get our money to us after completion (£190k!), and a further 2 weeks to refund management fees and ground rent owed to us by our buyer (£440). Purchase conveyance was opposite extreme. Could not have been more professional and thorough, quick to respond even early in the morning, late at night and at weekends. Took a record-breaking 4 weeks to complete! I highly recommend you ask for Rebecca Leeman. Massive value for money.0

I haven't used them but am using a solicitor in Norwich, Rogers & Norton.
£2180 quote including stamp duty (£173k), includes everything no added extras.
Had them recommended to me by a friend who recently used them, seem very quick and efficient in initial stages. Maybe get a quote from them to compare.0 -
I have just had Ellice Fennell from this company complete my house purchase. First time buyers we were very nervous but she was able to answer all enquiries promptly, always returned my calls or emails and would keep us fully updated. I highly recommend and am glad she has just accepted my mothers house sale.0

just had Liam Wallace from lambert Pugh complete my sale and purchase, no issues at all, kept in close contact, even had a comment from the kier sales lady that Liam was brilliant and helpful to work with.
also John Lambert handles my commercial lease for my business, again nothing but positives.0 -
The buyer of my house is using these,
--he can't get through.
--my solicitors can't get a call back
--my estate have left loads of messages no return call.
--lost paperwork in the post
--exchange day been missed 3 times.
Been dealing with Francesca Davis and spoke to her assistant who said she was on training and then amazingly became available.
I asked to make a compliant, no phone call back. The communication with this company is awful.
10 weeks on and they lost a document in the post, the buyer is a first time buyer so should be easy for them.0 -
We are due to exchange on Thursday. The bottom of the chain are using Lambert Pugh and our vendors are using EZie Conveyancing (Premier Property Lawyers). The whole process has been a nightmare. Exchange was delayed then failed twice due to one or the other online conveyancers. I am dreading something going wrong with the money transfers on completion day.0
