    Sad day today
Patrick Swayze has died aged only 57 and Keith Floyd has died aged 65

    ...Linda xx

    Very sad.

Hubbles has been particularly affected by Patrick Swayze because his mum died of pancreatic cancer :(

I almost think keith Floyd had it better - he'd had a lovely day with no inkling of what was coming. Patrick Swayze has been staring death in the face for months...

May they both rest in peace

  • Patrick had suffered with pain for most of his adult life due to footballing injuries and dancing injuries.
It's desperately sad when you look at what a strong, healthy man he was.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

TV chef Keith Floyd dies, aged 65

Keith Floyd: 'Gordon Ramsay is a c***'

Keith Floyd has lashed out at celebrity cooks including Gordon Ramsay and Marco Pierre White.
The chef labelled Ramsay a "c***" who had been "seduced" by the glamour associated with television, reports The Sun.
During an interview in new documentary Keith Meets Keith, Floyd lambasted the producers of cookery programmes, adding that "television is crap".
He also said that the "w**kers" on television are unable to comprehend the "language" of food.
Keith Meets Keith will be shown on Monday at 10pm on Channel 4.

    ...............

Sums him up perfectly, top bloke. Best TV Chef ever ( although he would have hated to be called that!)
Always try to watch the 'Floyd On...' re-runs. Hopefully theyll be repeated again and again.
    :D:D stay wonky :D:D

In a way yes but there's the shock of it happening out of the blue, things left unsaid to loved ones, no chance to say goodbye etc.

Patrick died surrounded by incredible love, his whole family was with him.

Morning, managed to get out of bed and get me and the kids dressed and Ryan to school on time, but think that could be about my lot for the day. I had an hours sleep last night, and an hour the night before, plus I can't eat because my throat just closes up leaving me gasping in pain, and my head is pounding.

Sorry - tell me again that men aren't wasters.

Trying to think what everyone else has said now...awful memory!

Well I was up 4 flipping times in the night with Bea..she kept saying she needed to go to the toilet so now I am wondering if she might have a urine infection, although she hasn't complained of any pain?

Have my lovely new jeans on today, def no gap like in the pics maz! Although I do feel quite slinky in them (just need to loose a bit of the muffin top)
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Wish I could Linda but I've got Natasha here with me, and she has already caught me crying once and said 'What matter Mummy', so I need to pull myself together for her sake.

Pepe, sorry hun, present company excepted. Actually, I haven't turned into a bitter, man-hating cynic, I won't let him do that to me, but might just be a little bit bitter for the next few days.

As I said on FB, with Shrek I KNEW I had fallen for a ba$tard, but I honestly thought Will was different. He seemed so nice and so completely genuine.
