Daily Chat Tuesday 15th September - hopefully no chocolate talk today!

Hi - I can't keep opening this!
Definitely no choccie talk today or all these 12 week plans will go out the window! :D

Flipping cold here.
I have to be at church by 9 to cook the old people's lunch. :rotfl:

I miss Whatatwit. Hope she's ok - seems to be farming.

morning.....seem to have the beginnings of a bit of a cold.

Work and then tonight I need to seriously start putting together my teaching folder for next Monday as the course I'm teaching starts.

Just the 14 documents needed to go in my folder for the first session of a 5 week course (not including the week on week handouts to produce)

Oh, and rather bizarrely, I can check in online for my flight to Portugal from today......I go in 3 weeks.......:rotfl:

morning everyone. It's my 2nd wedding anniversary today :) shame my husband is 3500 miles away but oh well... the 12 week plan puts a bit of a damper on celebrations.

*sammy throws the mars bars away*

Just read back on last night...did anyone call 999 Spud did NOT report back...

Just bought a pair of gold hoop earrings....well I needed a sleeper pair....

BB - tbh - I think giving up the morning role seems an excellent idea, before you get used to the extra money and it is difficult to be the boss in one area and not in the other.

Buffy - well done on shredding I am proud of you...the hardest bit is so over now...it can ONLY get better and you must carry on.

Maz...what can I say - he is a man and men ARE from Mars and women ARE from Venues...we just don't think the same...no matter how nice they are...

do you Sammy? tbh I thought everyone would slap me with a frying pan for being so stupid as to give up full time work 5 weeks in! Although it might be a general falling out of love altogether - I am not looking forward to the next 10 weeks of teaching - a 5 week course which is then repeated, from early November plus doing a second 5 week course alongside it from mid November and 2 all day Saturday 1 day courses later on in the term - on top of a full time day job, teacher training and weekend AQA to get the CC cleared.

    morning all.

I was going to say it's likely to be a great day but I've just fallen going UP the stairs... my knee and both feet hurt... poor Evie was subjected to a barrage of words that would made a sailor blush!

Hope everyone has a great day.

I think its hard to imagine the position you are in unless you have been in that position. I went through similar and ended up in a job that bored me to tears....the difference when I found something I loved and interested me was immense...

Its not really full time working in one job is it...its running round like scalded chicken mode trying to make two jobs be one...I honestly think you should concentrate on one...for what its worth...its no good making yourself tired and exhausted if you can manage on the part time for the time being....

No chance, he is on a promo tour in the states, they have 11 interviews/gigs today then they have to drive 650 miles... I'll be lucky if I get a 2 minute phone call.

I also think you should concentrate on the afternoon job. You are still in a better position than you were when you were part time before. If you dislike the mornings more than doing AQA then it's a no brainer :)
