"I've had 3 mates go BR, in all cases their Lambrettas were in bits and the OR offered to sell them back for a £1 each... My ex bought her Vespa back off the Glasgow OR for £1 as well... Seems to be about the size of it... they all did say "send the man with the van" and keep it in storage and, well, wasn't worth doing... (Lucky they didn't come round - my mate has the custom Lambretta Agent 00 Soul, the sliver and gold plating would probably have cleared his debts)

No, I genuinely mean I am glad that the OP is pleased and am glad he seems to be doing well for himself! In his case honesty paid off. He got a new job with pay rise and told the OR and the OR didn't increase his IPA - result!
