Sorry to repeat your list but if this is what you want to use up, it's easier for me to refer to! You are going to need some things for lunch, obviously, but:
Double cream - whip and combine with strawberries and meringues for nice pud.
Natural yoghurt - nice for breakfast with your muesli or combine with fruit for pud.
Natural fromage frais: put in a bowl, crush in a clove of garlic and a tablespoonful of tomato puree. Add a handful of grated cheddar. Roll up slices of ham, top with fromage frais mixture, add more grated cheese and grill. Nice with pasta or baked potatoes.
Feta: Either fry off an onion, add some broccoli and a clove of crushed garlic. Stir in crumbled feta and cottage cheese plus 2 beaten eggs. Ordinarily this would be in a pie made of filo pastry, but you could use ordinary pastry OR better yet, you could top with sliced, cooked potatoes brushed with butter and cook for about 30 mins in the oven till golden and the filling set.
or fry onion and broccoli, stir in crumbled feta and use as yet another pasta sauce!
Cottage cheese: you can use this mixed with cheddar as a topping for lasagne instead of bechamel sauce - combine with some of the ragu mix suggested earlier and lasagne (or any other pasta pretending to be lasagne).
Quark: I can't get excited about quark. However, you can mix it with sugar and serve it up with orange segments for pudding. Or you can use it in much the same way as any other soft cheese.
Chicken roll, ham and beef slices - I'm assuming are for lunch, but they can all go into ChocClare's Ubiquitous Pasta Recipes...!
Bacon and sausages I've talked about.
Chicken fillets - can be anything. Fry off with onion and then add a) white sauce b) stock and orange juice c) stock and wine etc. etc. I'd suggest frying them off with your onion, adding grated rind and juice of one of your oranges (and a few segments if you like) plus some chicken stock, let it reduce till syrupy and serve with rice.
Melons and grapes and kiwis - are lunchy or puddingy (or breakfasty for OH)
Strawberries - I've done
Plums - stewed in a crumble? Baked in a cake or pie?
Lettuce, tomatoes, radishes - are lunchy
Beetroot - grated with corned beef hash (have you got any? No...) er... with minced beef hash - some of that ragu stirred into mashed potato and then fried (yes, I know it doesn't sound very healthy, but it's fine). Serve with your grated beetroot. Just do it - it's lovely!
Chillis, Peppers, Red Onion, Mushrooms, Aubergines and Courgette says ratatouille or vegetable lasagne or vegetable curry to me. Courgettes are nice grated and stirred raw into hot spaghetti (I honestly do not work for the Pasta Marketing Board) with a bit of cheese on top.
Carrots, mangetout and sweetcorn says stir-fry - with some of your chicken fillets, perhaps, some soy sauce and egg noodles.
Hope this helps!0 -
Crumble:
6oz flour
3oz sugar
3oz butter or marg
Zhuzh together in food processor if you have one. If not, rub the butter into the flour and stir in the sugar.
Lay your fruit - blackberry and apple, plum, apple on its own, rhubarb, whatever - in the bottom of your dish and sprinkle some sugar over it. You may need to stew the plums - just heat gently with some sugar - but I don't often bother. Put crumble mix over the top and put in a hottish oven for about half an hour until golden brown.0 -
On the subject of puddings, Heron Freezer centre have gorgeous cheesecakes 2 for £1. I always keep a few of these in my freezer. They also have the packets of pastry (if you're not too handy making it yourself like me) again 2 packs for £1

Wrote a mammoth post & lost it :-( :-(.
Summary....
1. Maybe freeze some cooked meats to stretch them & maybe alternate sandwiches, egg(if you buy some), cheese ( good grated, mixed with grated onion & mayo to make it all go further) & meat.
2. Carbonara type dish - (thanks to my French flatm8 back when I was studying in Grenoble)) ( slice & dry fry( helps with the flavour & keeps fat content down) bacon, sweat onions (+ mushrooms + garlic if you fancy variation) in the same pan. Cook pasta, add to frying pan & allow to briefly 'catch on any brown ( not black) bits of bacon juice, (added flavour), mix in a little cr!me fraiche & crack in a raw egg & mix well ( the heat from the pasta will cook the egg, don't worry) serve with finely grated (strong if poss so less needed) cheese & cracked black pepper.
3. If making Ragu, another thing to do with some it stuffed courgettes: Blanch courgettes (1 per adult), cut in 1/2 lengthways, scoop out the seeds & reserve. Chop the seeds etc & add in 1/2 as much ragu to the seeds, re-fill the courgette 'shells' with the mix, finely grate over a little cheese ( again, strong if poss). Place in the oven on a baking sheet for 15-20 mins ( until the courgettes are cooked through & the cheese is brown. Serve topped with a little cracked black pepper, either alone, or with a little of whatever you fancy. Surprisingly filling - honest!
4. Happened to discover turkey mince makes a cheap & surprisingly yummy subsitiute for beef mince in chilli burrito's ( don't ask how! ;-))
Hope something above helps...... If I remember anything else from my original post will update this later ! Good Luck!

here's what i'd do
use your chicken roll, ham in sandwiches
freeze your chicken fillets and saus, chillis, pepper, mushrooms, etc
also i'd freeze your fruit to in portains and get out when u need them will last u longer
from what i can see i think u will be fine and won't need to spend much.
freeze your bread rolls for lunch and get what u need out same with wraps.
what r your dates on yogurts and cheeses?
for lunch boxs u have loads in u can make. saus rolls, fruit, cakes, yogurts,
use what won't freeze first then start on the freezer using meat in things and freezing any u aren't eating
a few ideas turkey leg, roasts and veg and yorkshires, wraps, curry, toad in the hole,
i think u will be fine u have loads in and don't think u will need much else0 -
Ok, think im going to take a look at sum of the links, mainly how to meal plan.. then will post on here using mostly ur ideas, as im a bit of novice at this.. so i hope no one minds posting me recipes/ basics if i pick there idea as i prb wouldnt have a clue on puddings...0

Princess Lou - sounds great! Just get your head around the meal planning first. As you are working out the meals - dont't forget to remove that part of the ingredient. So if you use your turkey leg - you need to make sure you dont cound it in another recipe?
Sounds complicated indeed - but it's just a new concept and you will be flying in no time. Again I cant stress enough how useful the feed family of 4 for £20 will be - to show you how she managed it.
Of course you can ask here for recipes and help - that's what we are here for
Hopefully you are feeling a bit more positive, it can be done!A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Thinks like Moussaka and Pasticio are fantastic for large meals and can be used for a few days
Potato bake with Brocoli and cauliflower and chicken is a big filler and is good for lunch the next day.
Same goes for pasta bake with tuna0
