Great offers at the co-op and somerfield!! Just remember though folks how many tins/boxes of sweets and chocolates you had left over after christmas last year!! Don't go mad just because they're on bogof :-)0

What a great marketing ploy, how many people will still have their tins come xmas. Would you have bought them at full price?
And come November December these will be available, as every year for around the same price, If I remember qorrectly they were slightly less than £8 for 2 at Asda0 -
Got Roses and Quality St last night, no Celebrations though, so will have to pop back & see if they get those in too...0

im sure some people will buy them again but for some like me it helps to buy these things early and put them away because in november/december money is tight with buying the childrens xmas pressys,:AEverytime a bell rings an angel his gets wings0 -
if u want to hide ur tins until christmas, under the kitchen cabinets is the perfect size for tins, bottles of spirits and small expensive presents. Just unclick the bottom facia and replace after concealling ur goods, no one has found that hidding place and I've been using it for years....it's no good for bikes though!!!0

Blimey, that's a good one. I'd never have thought of that!

I personally didn't buy mine for Christmas as don't really celebrate it, so their so called marketing ploy didn't work. I bought them because I wanted some chocolates and it was a good offer. Mine are already open, I think I might have one nowGrocery challenge - Nov: £52/£100

Yum going to have to get on this one. I've got a staff discount card so that brings the price down further to £7.20. Think I might buy a tin for home and another one for a few extra brownie points in work!
My dad's on the board of the Co-op and reckons that the aquisition of Sommerfield will give them bigger buying power and help bring their prices down as we all agree their shops can be expensive.0 -
Bought 2 tins of Quality Street this evening. All they had left. Wish I went yesterday now0
