They're 1.1k. I'm just back and saw them. I was tempted by the 2 for £6 boxes of quality street (300 odd grammes ) so I was working out would it be cheaper getting the small boxes or big tin. I didn't realise it was £8 for two
  • From Weds 16th Sept co-op should have those big christmas tins of chocs on offer, buy one get one free at £8 each. Offer lasts one week only. (offer ends 23/09/09 ? )

I'll be getting a few for xmas presents!!!

Co-op also has other festive choccies on offer too, like tubs of ferrero rocher at £2.

This is my first post here, hope it is helpful. :j

    Hi everyone,

I'll think you'll find that this will apply in Somerfield too starting tomorrow for a week.:j

As we have been taken over by the Co-op I am guessing that's why we have the same offer starting....
    HTH
  • just been in my coop and they are £8 each?? not bogof see if it changes tomoz
  • Does this offer apply in Co-op Local/Welcome stores too? We don't have a Co-op supermarket around here anymore.
  • These offers are around each year but as has been pointed out you have to be careful what size tins they are.
If these are really 1.1Kg then that works out at just over 27p per 100g.
I always buy when I find them at 29p per 100 g or better so this deal is a good 'un!!:T

(using a price per 100g allows me to assess offers on all pack sizes and exercises my brain at the same time)!:rotfl:
    Good eh!:T

  • I'm going to have a look tomorrow in my local Co-op - and thanks to this thread I will be taking special notice of the weight!

these are the large tins. They also have maltesers boxes for £1, large toblerones for 2.25 half price. Turkish delight for £1.
  • I feel a fat shop happening tomorrow :D

Trouble is... where to hide them

Ditto, congrats for getting post in the Newsletter
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)

Yes, Christmas offers and deals are identical in both. And from 30th of September all Co-op promotions run in Somerfield as well.
