I would hold onto it and see if they charge you. If they do I would point out that I had cancelled and they had delivered anyway.
So in that case I would be sending them an invoice for storage costs. After all your not a woolies warehouse, are you?:rotfl:HKP
Who is this super hero? Sarge? ...No. Rosemary, the telephone operator? ...No. Penry, the mild-mannered janitor? ...Could be!0 -
I didnt realise it was the woolworths one till Id signed for it.
I'm on the phone to them now to get them to come back & collect it....
I just saw the opportunity to pay an extra £75 off my credit cards, just had to be considered really... Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

You could pay an extra £75 off you credit cards if you didnt buy the garden furniture in the first place.....??!!
Afterall garden furniture is a WANT and not a NEED (especially when the weather is like it is today....).0 -
I'd hang fire to make sure that you do actually get the one that you ordered (check with LX when delivery is due). Afterall if something happens to that delivery and you've sent this one back you'll have none.
I think I'm with the majority otherwise and I'd let Woolies know.0 -

Absolutely agree with you, but I want to keep my lodger bringing the money in and having the flat inside & out looking like a barren squat aint gonna help. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? You could have waited until the summer & perhaps got a better deal.
I am sure your flat does not look that bad!!
I shouldnt be so harsh I suppose as I was just as bad at one time, but I cant help it!!0 -
I would give them a call and tell them. They are bound to find out in time.0

Believe me, the flat aint great. In fairness if it was being let, as it was 2 weeks ago it would have been let "unfurnished" . In any case this is all budgeted for out of the lodgers income so no biggie. Hopefully it will be collected tomorrow if they call me urgently as I asked:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most?
