I was -5/6 in both eyes and also had astigmatism. She went over all my options and have to say it;s one of the best things I ever done. As I said I know it's a trek from Newcastle, but then you only have 1 pair of eyes and want to make sure it's done right!
I'm not one for offering discounts (although sure we could arrange something!), but just want to share my fantastic experience. I honestly didn't expect Optical Express to be so good. I kinda thought it was the bets option avaialble at the time and felt comfortable enough to go ahead with it (which was a BIG decision) but as soon as I spoke to the surgeon it was all go. I'm now 6 months down the line and can see the very bottom line (the page after 20/20) with my right and almost with my left. When I went in I was struggling to see the top letter with my left!!!0 -

Hi Mking 007,
Did you have your original treatment at optimax? Some of the clinics will still do re treatments upto about 5 years after surgery but it will depend on individual policies.
Also do you know for definite if you are suitable for a re-treatment as not everyone is. Most people are but it will depend on your corneal thickness. Let me know if you have any questions on laser eye surgery and I would be happt to help
