  • 1) Finish all outstanding essays, as well as keeping up with new ones.
    2) Attend the majority of meetings and events for 3 uni societies (atm, looking like being Pagan, RAG and Yoga), when they start again in 2 weeks.
    3) Eat a 'proper' cooked dinner (ie, not cereal or soup) at least 3 times a week. 1/3.
    4) Pay off Halifax card (easiest one, tbh, it stands at £422.20 atm and can be paid off with my student loan on 30th Sept :j )

The risotto yesterday was lovely, I just didn't make enough because I thought it swelled up more. Ended up with cereal again today since I slept too long in the afternoon. So I'm going for an early night now so I can cook again tomorrow and get some essay work done.

  • Hi all of you, I read through most of the posts and really enjoy it.
    Please let me join....
    :)
Sorry, I already lost the weight (2 stones, BMI now 27) I wanted as I have a nice GP who gave me nice pills helping me to keep my fingers out of the cookie jar...
but still working on reducing my CC balances...
    in all fairness....
    so here we go:

    1100,- Barclay CC 2

Trying to sell unwanted stuff on ebay, which is actually not too bad I have to say.
Also subscribed to every possible cash back webpage under the sun!
so I 'earned' already over £ 63,- which will go into my account soon! :T

So I also hope I will find a 2nd job soon
  • wow everyone is so busy! :beer:ashamed to say havent done much today.
been trying to prepare for a job interview tomorrow (hence why i am still awake at this time - cant sleep - too nervous!) so i guess that counts.
shared my dinner with my mum although that was one full packet of fresh pasta meant for two anyway but doesnt that count as being healthier? (lets discount the crisps and irn bru - and the aero i ate while watching fitness tv. i swear i totally focused on what he was doing the whole time but i never lost any weight! lol!) must try harder!
changed my password for my email - took me ages to think of something really akward and difficult - i bet i forget it!
Had to get my mum to pay for my ebay stuff - birthday banners and stuff for my sisters party because paypal dont seem to want to send me a new password and ive forgotton it. doubley annoyed cos im watching some No7 lots which would be great xmas presents and i cant bid unless i have paypal!
im housesitting for my sister this week so usually i wont have as much internet access so will try to update at least once a week.
will update tomorrow after job interview._pale_

I am slightly late, but i'm ready to join in too! I get more things done with a to do list, and when its shared with people it seems more of an acheivement when crossing it off. So count me in!
    12 Week Plan
    1. Wrap up Christmas presents, and make a note of who else I need to buy for.
    2. Make 3 new bags for Christmas presents for friends
    3. Start making bags for additional income
    4. Ring up student finance and find out what the hell is going on with my application.
    5. Stick to my student budget ( although this will have to start in Nov when my budget will be more accurate, at the moment I’m just guesstimating)
    6. Complete a new and updated CV
    7. Pay off my New Look card - £56.21
    8. Join Uni gym and GO!
    9. Write more reviews on DooYoo & withdraw £50! – 7,810/50,000 (84 more reviews :O)
    10. Loose 7lb. I managed to put 5 lbs on in three weeks, so want that shifting and a little more. No more ill fitting jeans, here I come!

    Loving this! :)

In 12 weeks I will have:

    1) Saved £1000 to pay off my overdraft, which is due to become interest paying from January. (That's on top of all my normal expenses.)
    2) Be considerably fitter, and preferably lighter as well (will calculate a figure for that later)*.
    3) Have launched myself on a genuine career path, as opposed to just taking what comes along.

    [EDIT]

    4) Sell all my excess stuff on Ebay.
    5) Buy, wrap and give all my Christmas presents.
    6) Knit cardigans/blankets for all the babies my friends keep having!

12 weeks from the time of this post will be 10th December. I'll let you know how it goes!

    * (17/09/09): just got a place in the London Marathon for next year so I REALLy need to work on that one! :j

Today is garage day folks  I may not return for some time

    007.jpg

The house is lovely and decluttered these days though :rotfl:

You can tell how long ago it is since I've needed the drums/congas seeing as they are right at the back.

    ugh... do I have to?
