I think I may be developing a 12 week plan, although the thought of December being so close is a bit upsetting - brr winter!

Try searching RW events tab for a half round then...the problem you'll have is finding a flat one that close to marathon season...they tend to be hilly as its good prep (apparently :rolleyes:). I'm doing Blackpool mara in April and there's a half at the same time - almost totally flat along the seafront - enough people that you'll always have someone to run with but not too many that have to weave (and its cheap ), but I dont know how far that is from you...

There's also Liverpool half - it has reasonable reviews...and these two but I cant access the RW screen for them:

Which reminds me my training plan only goes up to Dec 31st - need to start thinking beyond that for marathon training :eek:

After yesterdays bad run its going to be hard work to keep the long term goal in mind for a few weeks I think *rolls eyes*
