12 week plan sounds good to me. I am 40 in 3 months and 1 day
my best friend is booking for us to go for a photoshoot (she works in the industry). We've been best mates for years so we are going to have some best mate photos together which I thought was a lovely idea. So, I need to be fabulous for that.
Can I lose 2 stone in 3 months? I've stopped eating junk but I need to stop drinking too... and do some exercise. It was all so easy when I spent endless hours playing kit, it was exercise without effort.
My plan for today is to get on with sorting out the garage, it's horrible in there.:A

Morning,
Just a quick one-re. my cousins son, please can everyone think positive thoughts for him but NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT IT ON FB! He doesnt know anything yet and I have been sworn to absolute secrecy until my cousin has spoke to the Dr's again and of course, her son. Thanks all.

Morning all! My plan for today - sort out a cleaner, phone my outreach worker to make sure friday's ok for her to be at my social services assessment, and sort out for the furniture charity to collect my old sofa before the new one arrives.
Dilemma about the cleaner though - I can get basic cleaning for £11.50 an hour, or there's a couple that do food prep too for £13 an hour. I'm really tempted to go for the ones with food prep, so I can get them to chop some veg for me once a week. It'll cost £1.50 more, but I'll save that on not having to buy ready prepared veg. Hmmm.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
And I'll join the 12 weeek plan-
Need to get paperwork sorted, (ie. stop avoiding CTC)
Lose 3 stone. (by my 40th)
Train for the half marathon in March.
But, first off, do the 30 Day Shred and Runclub...
thinking of joining weight watchers but not sure....Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

Ames if chopping veg is a problem for you then I would do that. The idea is to make life easier and to free up your time to do other things. if it takes you ages to do the food prep then you will be buying yourself all of that extra time which will be worth more than the extra £1.50.
If however you are just struggling to fit in food prep with the cleaning then I would say go for the cheaper option at first and see how it goes once you don't have to spend time on the cleaning.
My cleaners are doing my head in. It started off great but every week it's slipping. I am now coming back to find dirty oven trays shoved in the oven/drawers. They are dusing round things and last week didn't even mop the floors. I pay for 4 hours, 2 of them come for 1.5 hours... um, that means 3 hours to me. When I moaned about it the owner of the company said he had been sending 3 people not 2... funny how I've never seen 3 eh.
So, I've been looking around for another company, but my enquirys are being ignored from everywhere?? I feel like I've been blacklisted or something :A

I think that is the problem with cleaning companies Toto....I would stick to your guns and keep on with this lot till they get it right. If they didn't even mop the floors that is a disgrace....I leave a list of things I want mine to do cos they tend to concentrate on what they want/like doing (mine love cleaning my microwave every week but I hardly use it....:rotfl:but they aren't keen on the oven).
One week I ask them to do under cushions and the sofas and another week I will ask them to concentrate on the beds and under them. You would think that they would know all this stuff but as the weeks have gone on and my house is tidier I notice things more. I think eventually they will find that they can't get away with stuff..Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Thanks Toto, I do struggle with chopping veg, it hurts my wrists. I thought I could pay the extra £1.50 then take it out of the food budget. Although I've just phoned one of the ones that do food prep and they don't cover my area, trying to get through to the other now.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
