White gold is nickel (usually - I'd use silver, but I'm opulence on a stick... ) mixed with gold - 18 carat will be 18/24 parts gold and 6/24 parts nickel.

So what you're looking at there, is a silver earring with 1/10th of a millimeter worth of white gold clagged over the top.

Skype's dead easy - google Skype, download free app (giving yourself an i.d. in the process) which has a step by step wizard thing to set you up and then get someone to skype you. Simples!:D

I'd be surprised if you were allergic to proper sterling silver, its hypo allergenic I thought

I once bought a pair which said 925 silver on them and had a reaction - is that sterling silver? I'm a bit rubbish at this kind of thing I know I can wear titanium, perhaps I'll have a search around ebay.
