BB, I don't know about where you are but in Leeds there's a shop called something like Warren Jones, they do proper jewellery cheap, I use them if I have to buy jewellery as a present.
So is white gold a rip off then? I really like it.
A question for you runners, I've just seen a couple of people running with their hands behind their heads, is there a reason for that? Cos as far as I can see all you're doing is increasing the risk of falling over...
Spoken to sister about money, she'll pay me back the £80 as soon as she can, but it wont be for a couple of months cos she'll be paying rent in Leeds and Skegness till she can find someone to take over her tenancy here. And she's planning to pay me back the rest too. I'm trying not to get too excited, but I keep thinking that maybe I can actually go on one of my dream holidays for my 30th.
Thanks for the tip on milk, I've just bought some but I'm going through it so fast right now, I've got to go into town tomorrow so I'll nip into Tesco then.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

. If you're after low cost easy maintenance earring go for gold sleepers like these...
you must be psychic - I have a pair in my baskerI thought I'd have a look a fleabay first and then get the sleepers if nothing suitable (12.5% on quidco as well)
BB - I don't know if you saw my post yesterday, but I was wndering how you got on with the second job you were going for? It was one that meant you could then give up your admin job?
I didn't apply. I thought long and hard and decided that there would be other candidates with much more relevant experience. I was right - I handled the applications (I do some personnel stuff in my admin job) and the candidates being interviewed have loads of experience I don't. I also decided to take a chance on my afternoon job becoming permanent and also expanding - ie to take on the apprenticeships initiative which we aren't involved in yet - and for that to go full time. I felt my afternoon manager might think I wasn't committed enough to his department (hard to explain) and it's the only section where I work which could expand in the near future.
That's the crux of my throw away comment earlier about a high risk work strategy.........I keep thinking about giving up the morning admin job, work part time again in the 1 job, hope it gets made permanent and eventually full time.
The risk is plain - I would be giving up my permanent status (although that wouldn't hugely bother me) and I'd be back at part time plus teaching plus AQA. My afternoon job is nearly 4k per year more than my admin one so it wouldn't be as much of a struggle as it has been.
I just feel i've now 100% outgrown the job. I am now in an office I really don't enjoy being in - it's shouty, excitable and highly strung. I have an administrator in the afternoon and am the administrator in the morning. I'm turning down teaching because I'm already working full time. It's just all starting to 'jarr' a bit and I always told myself I'd never be unhappy in a job again.
However, it would also be incredibly stupid to go back to part time only 5 weeks after getting back to full time!"Stay Wonky":D

Ames, people often raise their hands above head when running if they get a stitch..it seems to get rid of it. Either that or its a new style of running I don't know aboutI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
