:xmastree: I'm back in, if i can be re-added to the list please lady pigpen.

1st day at home with the kids, so i will probably think it is Tuesday all day as Monday is normally a day of peace for me. Between acting as referree and trying to stop the house getting any worse than it currently is, i will try to do something off the list. :D

Manic Monday ~ Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
    Vacuum floors and sofas

    Wipe and water plants
    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    Level 3
Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
Tidy shoes, coats and bags .. Sort through a handbag
    Extra
    1. Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.
    2. Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
    3. Clean a window or two.
    4. Binbag dance
    Also, i could do with:
    • booking cattery for our short break in october
    • [STRIKE]posting a letter for DH and my dad[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]paying a cheque into the bank[/STRIKE]
    • remaking DS1's bed as it was wet this morning.
    • hang up load of wet washing on airer later - too grey for outside drying today.
    • [STRIKE]try to take kids either to park[/STRIKE] or to feed ducks with old bread
So far today i have fed us all, and the cats. Got us all dressed. Collected up all the dark washing and got that in the WM. Given the kids a snack. Dealt with a few tantrums, one number 2 accident and several tumbles from a very wobbly on his feet DS2.

They are currently playing happily with balloons from a birthday party last Saturday, but i need to try and motivate DS1 to leave the house. Will report back later what i manage, but whatever i will be happy as it will be more than the past few months unless DH has done it.

Aj I always wipe the plants with a piece of damp kitchen roll, I hold the tip of the leave and wipe from the stem leave towards me, if that makes sense.

As a kid my mother used to make me use a piece of cotton wool, with a milky like substance on it, I think it was a leaf shine from someone like babybio.

    Thanks for the ideas.

I think the oven cleaning may take me all day, but hopefully it will be worth it.

Kitchen now all sparkly clean (except for the floor which I'll do later)

It is getting very dark outside so I'm off to do my gardening jobs next in case rain comes.

See you all in a bit.
