    Hi All
Sorry, but I haven't had a chance to catch up - I seem to be completely up against it again....I hope everyone is going OK, and wanted to send some hugs to anyone who needs one.

Still trying to find a boiler engineer.....really annoying that the other one pulled out and wasn't going to contact us to explain he wouldn't be rescheduling. Very interesting that he was quick to get his diary out to schedule a meeting when OH mentioned we would probably be upgrading our boiler shortly . Hmmm, let me think, shall I give him our business.....

Anyway, here's what I've achieved so far:

Manic Monday ~ Living Room, Hall and Stairs

[STRIKE]Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets[/STRIKE]
    Level 3
[STRIKE]Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Tidy shoes, coats and bags .. Sort through a handbag[/STRIKE]

Twinkly Tuesday ~ Kitchen & Dining Room
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Declutter worksurfaces[/STRIKE]
    Sweep and mop floors
    Level Two
Wipe worksurfaces and see if you can do those small appliances on the way round
Wipe fronts of units and large appliances
Run the large appliances through a clean cycle
    Level Three
    Clean out the fridge
    Wipe the hob and [STRIKE]oven[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean the table and replace cloth if needed[/STRIKE]

Wednesday ~ bathroom annd cruddy study
    Level One
    Declutter floors
    Mop or vacuum as appropriate
    Level Two
Empty and wash out bins.. to make it worth while you should fill them first!
[STRIKE]Scrub bath, tiles, shower head.. you all read the link I hope?!.. sinks toilets [/STRIKE]keyboards mouses etc...
    [STRIKE]Defrag pc.. delete 50 unwanted emails and 10 dead/unused links[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
Clear the desk of gibble and give it a dust as you dust and deweb the rooms
[STRIKE]Wash the shower curtain/baths mats etc if required
Shine any mirrors and clear mantels[/STRIKE]

Thursday ~ Kiddies rooms, Spare rooms or another neglected room
    Level One
    Declutter and vacuum the floor
Tidy away all the toys and clothes and games and books that are in the wrong places
    Level Two
Strip and wash bedding and replace with clean.. vacuum and turn mattresses if needed
Wash any other soft furnishings.. curtains etc
Sort through a chest of drawers.. dispose of anything that is outgrown, worn out
    Level Three
    Dust and deweb
Wipe over the bedframes and paintwork
    Binbag dance!

Plus my dailies and any extras like supermarket shop, etc, etc....

I'm at home all day tomorrow so I'm hoping that I'll catch up on the things I've missed!

Off to do HHI and a load of washing. Hopefully the ironing pile will be non-existent in about an hours time.....

Take care all and have a good evening

Not posted much but been a good girl today, been to Toddlers, made a veggie lasagne, did laundry (washed and all dry and put away now!), mopped floors, cleaned kitchen and swished round loos too.
Hope you are all ok, no time to read whole thread.

Mudders - I gave up my little lottie and didn't look back. I can produce quite a bit in the front garden and it is so much easier

Frodders hope you are feeling a bit more positive this evening

Time to tidy up from dinner
Organise DS1 (who has been off sick today) to get his cooking stuff ready for tomorrow
Organise DS1 to get his rucksack packed for this expedition tomorrow

I'm off on DS3 school trip tomorrow, then DS1 to exp and DS2 to football.

Roll on Saturday morning when DH will be home and I don't have to get up early for anything.

Phew I'm absolutely shattered, and I am now finishing up for the evening. Dinner is cooking, DH will be happy he hasn't had a home made meat pie for ages :rotfl:Well there is method in my madness as t'other half of the meat pie will be popped in the fridge and then taken with us on Saturday for that evenings dinner. So that way we don't have to worry about what we are having etc..

Watching that totally daft Live from Studio Five on Channel 5, I am reserving judgement on if I like it or not. I can't stand Kate Walsh from "The Apprentice" hope she doesn't last that long as one of the presenters..:rotfl:

Oooh bit of good news, 'toxic friend' is out shopping so she isn't ringing me tonight :j Just got a text instead..oh the joys of texts..lol She is going to try and catch me when I am in tomorrow, wonder if I can be out all day..lol

Feeling rather blah now, wondered why I had niggling back ache now I know. It's that time of the month, although it kind of crept up on me. I think the reflexology might be working :) Good thing is it will be out the way by Saturday/Sunday :)

    Evening all,

Like dusty I've bombed this week! It has been a crazy week but I'm off tomorrow so it's now my weekend! :D We had our event at work today, really busy day but it went well. Managed to double last year's attendance which is great. I'm still not 100% well, Dr gave me some new, stronger antibiotics last night so hopefully it will finally shift (I'm rather sick of this after 6 weeks!) if not I have to go for an x-ray.

Flying-wise, I'm off tomorrow and DH is working on Sat so I should manage to fly right through the house. The wm is currently not draining or spinning - it's got quite a bit of water in. I need to try the filter first, fingers crossed it is that - think I'll leave it til tomorrow when DH is out!!

Hope are well esp toots and LL. xx

  • Evening all

What lovely pics wilf and ffp! Beautiful children.

Ironing done, LR dysoned and I'm ready to flop into bed! I was going to make biscotti but I'm too tired. I made some earlier in the week and they turned out really well.

I'm on strike. I'm sick of DD doing nothing. I feel like an unloved, unappreciated house elf :(

Need to get my stuff sorted for work tomorrow

    Night night xx
