Morning all.
Quite a productive day yesterday and feeling positive.
I don't have a list as such for today but it will include laundry (washing, folding, sorting, putting away, hanging up lol!), cooking, perhaps baking, knitting, playing with DS, relaxing.......in no specific order lol!
Hope all are well and sorry not read through all the posts in detail, don't have time, hugs to anyone who is struggling though and well done for those who are flying like little buzzy bees!

Not bad here today. Kids decluttered to school so I have the place all to myself for the morning I'm actually quite liking that although I may change my mind when DD goes a full day and I'm on my own till 3.

Rosep well done on making a start on the decluttering. I think Toots is right getting into a routine is the way forward and you'll find it so much easier in the long run.
Jinky good luck with your grans housework. That's a really lovely thing to do.
Triker & Toots Slow down take it easy please.
Pigpen get to the doctors.Dyson, please, rather than hoover! And don't forget the slow cooker and the Ramoska must be incorporated within the pix along with the home made cakes and the bread maker! As well as the sausage dog shaped draught excluders and the stock piles of bogofs....

Morning all
It's a nice day out there, bright but a bit on the chilly side.poohbear59 wrote: »AnWsmum Your daughter is very brave. Tell her well done. We also have people who do that too. Arrive far too late and get other people stressed thinking they will have to take over something not read through. Some words can be really difficult to pronounce.
I read at the weekend. First time since 2004 when I was first ill.
I had nightmares the night before. The reading had loads of words I could't pronounce and then I had forgotten my specs, then it was in Latin. for goodness sake.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Last weekends readings were short and no difficult words. I used to read regularly, teach 11-18 year olds and run children's church and on Saturday was panicking about reading. Your DD did so much better than me tell her.
Miss A saw this post and had a wide grin like thisI am sure you did your reading as well as you did in the past. It is one of those skills, once you have it you never really lose it. Well done on doing it
AnW'sMum - inter regnums are the worst aren't they! No one officially in charge. Makes it terribly difficult. But well done and well done to Miss A as well
Tell me! Dad is church warden so everyone looks to him for guidance. This w/e they were away (not often they are away) they were down to do coffee after the service. When I arrived I was accosted and asked if I was doing it in their absence. Said no, they will have made arrangements to swap with someone. 'No they haven't' well long story short, they had swapped but  at several people that morning :rotfl:and who has occupied this flylady's body and/or messed with her mind because this is so NOT the AnWsMum we all know and love:p:p:p:p:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I would say it was another well known flylady's influence but if you want me to follow in the footsteps of Mrs B ..................;):D
On the subject of dailies..... I am with toots I believe it should consist of things that need doing round the house and not include personal stuff. I have never really posted a daily list because most of it just happens which let's face it is the same with personal stuff. We all get washed/showered/brush teeth/hair etc so I don't see the point in listing that. I take it as read that everyone else does these things. The only people that need that type of list are littlies like W:rolleyes: but he is 6.
On the assumption that none of us are domestic goddesses (otherwise why are we here?) then we all need guidance and mutual support. Great long lists (as we have all seen and commented on in the past) can be very counter productive and demoralising. However some jobs do benefit from breaking down into chunks eg my RoD (Room of Doom) and dot2dot (both patented and copyrighted)
I can never claim (at the moment at least) the dining room star as that is my RoD and I know it won't be sorted for a while but it does not stop me having a go in there and chipping away at it. So when I see kitchen and dining room my heart does sometimes sink BUT I do as much as I can on those days along with my dailies.
RP if you took out the personal stuff (or posted a personal set of dailies instead) then your list suddenly looks much more achievable
DAILIES:
Washing up
Empty bins
S&S LR/Kitchen/Bathroom
Check plants
Laundry
Personal Daily List:
HHK
French lesson
Days Text
Bible reading
Heel balm once/twice
Go outside twice
Getting the housework dailies done earlier on then frees up your time to do your personals and the days tasks. You may even find that by completing the dailies you have made a start on that particular days tasks. Then you enjoy doing the things you want to do even more as you have the satisfaction that the routine boring stuff is done.
