    [STRIKE]
have turbo listed 8 items ready for thursday on a 10 day listing[/STRIKE]

had 2 police officers round today the nosy old bag at the end of the road reported my son who hardly ever plays out cos he chooses to play golf for pinching her garden ornament

police basically said they had to come as he was actually named he wasnt it was her saying he lives at no 9:mad:

police accepted that she made up the bit about it being my son when i showed them his training schedule and some of the references he has
    but can you believe it:mad:

apparently she got evicted from her last house for causing similar problems not sure how true this is but cant believe she did this

when i went to see her she actually admitted that she was going of the house numbers that one of the other kids gave her and that she wouldnt even recognise my son from adam

thing is he has been selected for coaching by english golf union and things like this if taken further can jepodize (sp) all this

funny thing is 2 weeks ago when the event happened we drove past her house and wondered what the commotion was as we were coming home from golf
ooohhh i am so annoyed with her

Is that why I have absolutely no motivation whatsoever :p ? I can't be bothered with anything and the house is a tip and I could quite easily just sit and sob :o
aw huge hugs froddy - I am sure you are tired being back at school so dont be hard on yourself and after all the cleaning you did in the hols I am sure the house is fine. xx

Manic Monday ~ Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
    Vacuum floors and sofas
    Level 2
Remove clutter - question: ALL the clutter, or SOME clutter??? I could be here for several weeks if it's all the clutter!
    Level 3
Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister
Tidy shoes, coats and bags .. Sort through a handbag

I reckon if I tidy up as much of the LR as poss, the top of the tv, the armchairs and sofa, and the wooden box, then that will could as the item I questioned on the list. HOpe so anyway! Toots, please feel free to comment
RP re your question - it needs to be ALL the clutter so I am afraid your idea of just doing the bits mentioned above wont work - I cant stroke that off my list as my hall is full of boxes so it will be months before I can get a LR/Hall list done despite my LR being spotless.

    Level 1
    Vacuum floors and sofas
    Level 2
Remove clutter (nearly done, just need to do top of TV and then a final declutter in time for Sunday)
    Level 3
Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister
Tidy shoes, coats and bags .. Sort through a handbag

    DAILIES:
    [STRIKE] Washing up
    Empty bins
Tidy LR/Kitchen [/STRIKE]S&S kitchen and Bathroom and tidy LR
    [STRIKE]HHK[/STRIKE]
    French lesson
    [STRIKE] Days Text
    Bible reading
Water plants morning/evening – don’t need it today
    Heel balm once/twice
    Laundry
have a wash and get dressed
    Go outside once/twice[/STRIKE]

    EXTRAS:
bank loose change (£31 worth!), buy black pen (so can fill out V14 form) and possibly stamp for the Channel Islands if needed (or would a normal first class stamp be ok?)
Sew up black bra and pink one AGAIN! GRR
Write one card to a friend
V14 form and cover letter to explain that car is at insurance company and we really do deserve a refund for our tax disc!
    Write cards to people
Declutter under the sofa - should be part of the decluttering in the LR
    Make draftexcluder
Package up lavenders and send to Diva

Look how many of my dailies I've done! That's the most I've ever done on one day! Go me! :j

And Embb - you will be glad to know FIL lent me a black pen so I can fill out the form tomorrow and take both those items off my lists!:T
RP I think your dailies needs a bit of tweaking - if you dont mind me saying - if you read pigpens definitions on post 1 dailies are the 'housework' things we NEED to do every day - washing up, making beds, S&S etc - your heel balm applying and washing and getting dressed are personals - similarly your HHK, french lesson are hobbies /relaxation things and wouldnt really be classed as necessities in life - your text and Bible reading are important to you I know but again are personal so maybe you should split your list into 2 and only post the household things because the personals are for you and not the house IYSWIM.

You need to try to have a daily routine for the household chores that gets them done first and out of the way EVERYDAY regardless of how you feel or what you are doing - at most i would think it is an hour's work and if you try a little bedtime routine too it might help even more.

Once the daily jobs are done then you can catch up with the day's list and get your extras done - I think you will achieve much mre than you are - but well done for getting your wooden box done today - put some lavender in with the bedding to keep it fresh.
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

Just been catching up on the freecycle/freegle dramas!

Now I really MUST get myself ready and go to bed. The fireplace will just have to stay where it is until I get home tomorrow. I can see all my flying will be done at the weekend as usual
  • Evening everyone.

Just a quickie from me to say i am still here and tried to tackle something in the kitchen. My DS2 spilt about 2 pints of milk on the kitchen carpet. I asked DH to bring the carpet cleaner home from work so he tried to tackle that. I think the majority of it came up but the pump wasn't working too well so a bit hard to tell in the dark but it might need more scrubbing.

I've cleaned my kitchen sink/draining board and binned the washing up sponge/replaced with a fresh one. I had to change DS1's bedding again because of another leaky nappy, so less drinks for him today.

I've taken the kids to the park and my parents today.

Somehow i also remembered to flea treat the cats, and i also stuck a reminder sticker on the calendar so i won't forget next month before they go in the cattery.

I've also decluttered by binning a mouldy baby pat mat thing, and there were a few bits on the kitchen bench that were rubbish really so gone.

Baby steps again, but i am shattered from all the chasing around with the boys and late nights to get a bit of me time. I'm sure it will all slot into place and i'll get there.

DS1 made me laugh. He said to me 'Mummy, have you cleaned this floor because it is filthy?' Lol. Yes, i have. It's just the bit of the dining room floor under DS2's highchair, and i hadn't swept up his breakfast debris before they sat down to dinner seems though i took them to the park. Cheeky beggar. Think i am going to train him to use the dustpan. ;)

I've read but no comments really, apart from poohbear thanks for the giggle, but i really hope you aren't in too much pain. It is the cat hair face that did it. :rotfl:

toots RP's list - i thought it was ok to put personal things on the list. The original flylady has things like take your vitamin, drink your water. That is what the fly system is all about - finally loving yourself by taking careof your own needs. Just my opinion on it, i don't see the harm in having it on there. Pigpen also says feel free to work off your own list. Anyone else have a thought on it?

Will report back in tomorrow but i think we will spend some time out again as it is the best way of stopping DS2 destructing even more of the house. I'm thinking playgroup and parent visiting. :D

    Night night.

Soappie Re this calendar is this what you're thinking of

Dyson, please, rather than hoover! And don't forget the slow cooker and the Ramoska must be incorporated within the pix along with the home made cakes and the bread maker! As well as the sausage dog shaped draught excluders and the stock piles of bogofs....

    Pizza toppings are optional...

front room is a tip again as OH has been cutting holes in the ceiling to install spotlights
Gonna try to sell original light on ebay.

Had a day off today so got loads of non-house stuff done - wax, nails, spent too much on props for photo shoot and some new warmer clothes for work as summer ends - gonna have to take some back tomm but *sigh* what's the point in working all the hours if you can't spend some.

Got a text from Revolution bar inviting me plus friends for a free meal. None of my pals could get out of work so had slap-up feast on me own and read the papers.

Found my old ipod headphones but not the new ones

    Found my spare car keys

ipod is charging... just to be on the safe side!

Just need to decide whether to take French or Italian with me to learn on the train!

Hopefully I will be able to make up my mind about what to wear reasonably quickly in the morning... which would make a change :D so much for my early night. Fingers crossed I get a decent night's sleep.... I didn't get round to having a bath, which i'd hoped to fit in...
