Glad to hear it... and just think, if you keep up with the ironing you won't have to deal with it at the last minute! I might join you in the alcohol avoidance for a couple of weeks, as I know its the easiest way to a. lose weight, b. sleep better, and c. have more energy!

errr well, ahem.. well.. ahem that, um, detox didnt go as well as expected... (hic)

however.. OH moaned about all the washing, drying, ironing etc and huffed @ me today about how "clearly he is going to have to help me clear it all" and offered to help!! he asked what he could do and I suggested ironing while I did steam press ironing!!! :rotfl:That'll teach him, (he has always claimed he "doesnt DO ironing"!!)although he DID do it and between us we cleared LOADS!!
I have 1 load in TD, 1 in WM and 1 waiting so am almost THERE!!! wooo hoo

Mrs B, a detox (she says in her best Lady Bracknell voice). Shocking idea. That was what we were doing right up until you posted on Facebook yesterday. Back on track now, at least until dinner time.

I refuse to be help responsible for your own [STRIKE]failings[/STRIKE] indulgences!!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

LadyL - I have seen your facebook update, hugs for you, my adored FIL is in a similar boat so believe me I sympathise - which doesn't help in the least but it is all I have. My heart breaks for you, and for your Dh and your family.

HEAR HEAR!!! much love and hugs from us all xxxxx
Will-power and determination (and some pushing the NHS to its limits!!) from now on...
oh and prayers all round, even from the non-religious of us... every little helps!!(:rotfl:) xxxxxx

Live for each day and don't waste them. And please tonight take the time to spend some quality time with those who matter to you.

I like this... it's said that most of us dont appreciate what we have until its gone... I went to a friends funeral a few years back who commited suicide and have thought ever since, if he'd have known how many of us would turn up, would he have done what he did...

On a more cheerful note.... well.. half the houseworks done, those that need to know, should know they are loved

and those that nag me about ironing will be blocked ( and possibly deleted!!):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I missed that and I didn't like to ask!

Now I have to go and scan my driving licence and send the scan and lots of details to a man in Nigeria who is going to send me 2-and-a-half million USD, as long as I don't tell anyone.
    Yeah right!
On another thread, they put up the name for a debt recovery agency and said to email the Nigerian emailers and tell them to call you on the number! LOL!

Very wise words, I'm doing my best to apply them. I got really angry the other day and decided not to let these feelings overwhelm me and just to do stuff, and, it's definitely helping! I really like what you said.

Greenbee hope you are feeling better soon with your migraine

Go Wilf! You are doing great!

Quillion, glad to hear your interview went so well, hope you get the job

Hi Natty, is your migraine better now?

    Hugs Lo-Lo

Toots, hope the problem with your feeding tube is solved. Thanks for my kick – give me another one in the morning!

Embb, glad to hear littley’s doing well

Big hugs Hex for you and yours

Hugs Dinx, hope you are feeling better soon xx

Lady Liberty, I also read your FB message, and am so sad that they have said they won't treat you anymore. You are right to try and find another specialist - don't give up, we will all support you in any way we can. I'm so looking forward to coming to meet you next week xx

They've told Lady Liberty that further treatment is no longer beneficial. She is going to try and get a second opinion.
